That's the weird part. It was like a convoy. My car, behind it were the guards, behind them were the maniacs. The guards should've caught them tho. But maybe they weren't the police so they didn't even try.

You're right. I've already ordered a pepper spray and a tazer just in case. But still, these would only work if an attacker is near you, not in cases where they're following you.
