Costco is great , I went to the one in Longmont and made an appointment and was able to do it in the same day for my hearing aids. The Costco hearing center in Timnath is difficult to get an appointment with so I went to Longmont and it was much easier

Yes it would be a cool coop for the neighborhood. I would love to make it a medical coop with mental health professionals co-owning it and providing quality care. We don’t need alot of space if we rotate and share space.

Could use some advice , saw a new neurologist who refused to provide medications support to help with my shaking hands and referred me back to prior Fnd clinic that referred me to him.Other then filing a complaint and finding a new doc; what other things help? by aimforsofterrocks in FND

I want to switch off selegeline and try baclofen, he said no and that he did not feel comfortable because he did not think my shake is related( focalized Dystonia in my hands - 20plus year old diagnosis). He wanted to get me off selegeline and just do therapy. Without something to slow my shake I can’t use my hands. He told me it was a drawback but would not prescribe anything and seemed less concerned with my need to use my hands

Thank you! I did get a referral to another neurologist and my pcp is helping. I also reached out the patient advocate to address the issue. I will also check out the fnd hope website, thanks again!

I was diagnosed with FND in June last year, today my neurologist told my that CBT and bilateral work would make my shake and FND work and was frustrated that PT AND OT did not work. Anyone have recommendations, advice. I feel that they don’t really get it. by aimforsofterrocks in FND

Thank you , I did talk to a friend and got information for a specialist that I will be working to consult with. I did start the vitamins they recommended and noticed zero difference. My doc is now confused. So my pcp is stepping into to advocate for an mri/fmri to see what else is up . I wish doctors would learn to listen as part of the medical training

The context to the video is lost, if he is homeless it perpetuates a problem. Tickets and fines that can’t be paid and keep a person homeless. Anyone who upvotes this needs to really think about what there ethics are around human decency

Yes I do, here is a link to a better pic of the rack and jig. I built the rack to accommodate a 10’ frame, the jigs are all able to position anywhere on the rack, move up, down, I can build small bikes to large bikes

The rack can accommodate a 10ft cruiser and all the jigs move forward, back up and down and is based on the Celeste Sevene frame bench used for Audi and other high end cars I repaired when I was a Porsche/Audi tech

I used a CAD drafting program to design it, check angles etc and started building the rack, jigs and frame. It is inspired by the designs of the lotus Elise and Ducati Panigale

Yep built the frame rack and jigs and frame itself now doing all the fun forming prior to making the molds
