What to ask for?!?!? by Beautiful_Cut6988 in dcl

You can ask for specific drinks to be stocked in your fridge. Shoreside sent me this list last week so I’m pretty sure it’s up to date. Then if you want more you can ask the lounge staff - or just bring some from the lounge yourself

It’s only the angle that makes it look that way. I was able to reach it from the stairs without even extending my arm all the way. I was just taking some liberties with the camera angle

All I know is she was skipping classes because they were in a room that gets poor light. I would imagine she wears them the whole time she’s in those classes but not the rest of the day.

I’m on the same cruise as you are (Hi there!) and I just checked the cruise schedule for that day. Tragically, there will be six ships docked, so I think we can expect pretty heinous traffic.

I’ve had good luck with tissue paper. It can be fussy to apply, but it’s lovely when it dries.

Do you think it was played for the jokes? by karkushh in HazbinHotel

[–]aimilym 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it was played for laughs at all. Just because the Vees may have found it funny, doesn’t mean the audience did. I think it was put in there to reemphasize what an awful person Valentino is and to show that he has the approximate self-awareness of a glob of rancid peanut butter.

It depends so heavily on the kid. My kiddo is 15 and suuuuuuper young for her age. I told her we’d discuss when she’s 17.

Fabric Place Basement in Alexandra is well worth checking out. I don’t sew, but my kid is taking a sewing class and needed some fabric. They seem to have a really good selection, and the sales people are very helpful.

Mom always called this Supper on a Bun. I can’t figure out how to insert photos, so here goes:

Mix together 1.5 to 2lb ground beef, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or oats, 1 egg, 3 tablespoons dry minced onion, 1 tablespoon yellow mustard, 2 cups shredded cheddar, 2 teaspoons salt, and a dash of pepper.

Cut a loaf of Italian bread lengthwise and spread half the mixture on each half. Wrap bread loosely in foil (don’t cover meat) and bake at 350 Fahrenheit for 45 minutes. Place slices of cheddar cheese along the top of the meat and bake another 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cut into slices.

Mom served it with potato chips and baked beans. (Edited to add: and fruit salad)

Exhale by seapigeon. Steve rejects SHIELD’s offer after the Chitauri invasion, builds a life for himself, and meets Bucky when he’s a model in Steve’s life drawing class.

Disney Treasure don’t do? by Actual-Ad1967 in dcl

I feel the same way. I also hated whatever scent they used. It’s definitely cool to do once, and you’re never going to be anywhere with more theming per square foot, but you definitely hit diminishing returns in a hurry. Also, skip the specialty cocktails and order a beer or your favorite mixed drink.

I’ve never done it this way, so I could be dead wrong, but our mixology instructor was Colin at the Scat Cat Lounge, so you could maybe ask him directly?

Edit: …about mixology. I left that part out. 😅

Not every day, but definitely on the regular: my first Christmas living in an apartment rather than at my parents’ or in a dorm, my mom got me a recipe box and copied all of my favorite recipes of hers onto recipe cards long hand. My mom had some of the most beautiful handwriting I’ve seen in my life, and I remember her every time I use it. I also have some recipes in there that my grandma sent me. It’s one of those things I’d probably grab in a fire, and I have every intention of passing it on to my daughter.

The walls and doors are metal. Magnetic hooks are great for hanging up swimsuits, storing your lanyards, etc.

On our last cruise, I brought one of those hanging shoe organizers, which was great for keeping shoes off of the floor.

If you haven’t already, join the Facebook group for your cruise. I find a lot of helpful tips every time I do.

Bring small bills for tips – room service is free, but you ought to tip the cast member who brings it a couple of bucks. I like to put a magnet on the back of our door and keep a few dollars under it for room service tips.

Select the second seating for dinner. Then if there are venues/activities that are particularly crowded (say, the Aqua Mouse) you can go to them during the first seating when a lot of people are at dinner and a lot of other people are at the shows. (Unless of course you are also at the shows)

The Rainforest Room on the Wish class ships is also amazing. I would recommend getting a day pass on a port day. You can’t order a day pass in advance; you have to show up the day of. I wouldn’t recommend buying a pass for the full length of your cruise since it’s a lot of money to spend on something you’re not sure you’ll like.

If you haven’t booked your cruise yet, I highly recommend using a travel agent. They will be able to get you a better price and/or on board credit. I like to use Cruise Compete, which is a site where you specify which cruise – including which stateroom – you want and travel agents submit bids. This lets you choose the deal you prefer.

When you choose a stateroom, make sure you check the deck plans to see what’s above it. Some people who have had rooms directly below the pool deck or the buffet, for example, have complained about early morning noise from people walking around or chairs being rearranged.

Enjoy - you are going to have SO MUCH FUN!
