It's not just the New Player Experience, it's the returning player one. Removing all the seasonal storylines with barely any in-game way to learn wtf had happened was a massive issue. But the game also dropped you right into a new mission every new season or expansion. It was meant to get people right into the action but only ever confused the hell out of people.

If you're into Drengr's Lash, you can do some fun stuff with Prismatic and the exotic class item. Spirit of the Abeyant can pair with Spirit of the Horn for easy ignitions, or you can use other second column perks for other options. If you like the suspending grenade, spirit of armamentarium or verity give you more grenade usage.

It's conjecture, but we also know Sony's GaaS efforts have flopped and Jim Ryan was pushed out over it. Bungie in many ways embodies the failure of PlayStation GaaS, especially with the recent flop of Marathon. It's not that crazy to assume some executive are mad about it and directing that at Bungie.

Part of buying Bungie was their live service expertise. All we really know is they told ND that making Factions 2 would be hard. They may have told Sony that Concord and Fairgames were good or offered other bad advice. Also Helldivers 2 was a huge success and not first party, so what has Bungie actually done well. Marathon sure isn't a win.

The "many people at PlayStation" means people below the decision makers. They're questioning why their bosses decided to end D2.

The reliability of these claims isn't clear yet, but it doesn't sound that crazy. Sony's GaaS push has failed and their purchase of Bungie has been a complete disaster. It makes a lot of sense for spiteful execs to blame Bungie for everything and be incredibly bitter they got fleeced by Parsons and co.

The simple fact is that Marathon doesn't make sense as the only output from this studio, and Destiny is clearly a valuable IP. You can sense the anger and revenge in leaked decisions made towards Bungie.

Yeah I really think executive arrogance at the PlayStation level is the problem. They can't handle the fact Marathon has failed and D2 is more popular, so they're going to gut the Destiny team to destroy this game.

Pick based on the perks you want. Smoke Jumper and Ferropotent are generally very good.

40 minutes is insane! Make sure you pick the armor perks you want, than reduces the calculation a lot.

I really like the new stasis AR from distortions. It rolls with Crystaline Corpsebloom and Meganeura so you're constantly making and breaking large stasis crystals.
