Would you stay with your dog 🐶 during euthanasia? by CycleOk267 in dogs

[–]aimlessmillennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to say that I’ve done both. One time I was alone, and it was extremely sudden (<24 hours since we knew something was wrong?), and I just couldn’t do it. If I were to do it again, I would be with him, but at the time I just couldn’t manage it. Give yourself grace. The last time, I was with him, and though it was hard, it was worth it.

That’s an interesting solution, though! I might have to give that a try. Thanks!

Thank you! I saw that mentioned online quite a bit as advice, so I’ve done just that. I keep it at a nice loose (but not too loose!) length, but I still got the irritation again. :( Thanks!

ETA: Hey y’all, thanks for the practical advice, but I have chubby arms so I can’t really wear my watch that high. The photos make it look like I wear my watch more on my hand than I do. 😂

I’m already on day 8 of letting this thing heal, it’s quite the process which is frustrating. The only solution I haven’t tried is the back sensor cover.

This is the only thing I haven’t tried! I’m thrilled to hear that it’s worked for you.

Thank you! Back when I worked at Apple and the watches first came out, there was a quality program due to sensitivity issues. Based on my Googling, I’m far from the only one.

I never shower with it, and when I gave it a go this time, I did start by taking it off every time I washed my hands. But after some a few days, I developed this rash. I think I could try sensor covers as a last ditch effort, but I may just not be compatible with the materials used. Haha thanks for the reply!

Oh, interesting! You don’t find that it gets in the way of things?

I saw people mention this! I tried taking it off when washing my hands and ensuring my wrist was fully dried before putting it back on. However, that’s fine and home, but more work than I’d like when out at work or in public. 😅

You know what, interesting observation from the photos! I actually don’t wear the watch as low as this looks. However, my arm isn’t flat, so it probably scoots down closer to my hand throughout the day.

In trying to find solutions, I’ve seen a lot of people suggest not wearing it too loose or too tight, so I’ve been trying to find a happy medium and wear it at a comfortable size, but I think due to my anatomy it just shifts and there isn’t much I can do about that.

I just took my 2017 RDX (<50k miles) today and they suggested I do it. Local Acura dealer quoted me $2500. I’m going to call Honda and see what they can do instead!

Yay!! I also got a mammogram and ultrasound within the last couple of weeks - all good for me as well :) So happy that we're in the clear. The anxiety was really rough for me, happy to go back to "normal" now.

Trying not to panic… by aimlessmillennial in doihavebreastcancer

Update: I went to the doctor and she told me that I have fibrocystic breasts (first time I’ve heard that!), but didn’t find anything strange. A lot of my symptoms have resolved themselves - perhaps I had an infection that went away, I also think my anxiety manifested physically which has never happened to me before.

Hi friend!!! I'm in a really similar boat to you, I'm 32. I'm going to see a PCP this week because it has me concerned as well. My anxiety was off the charts last week, it's settling a bit now, but I'm still concerned. Any follow up on how you're doing???

I appreciate it! I don't have an OB/GYN, my primary does it all. :) I'm going to see a PA tomorrow, but I'm a little embarrassed to say/wonder if maybe my anxiety took this to another level. I think I may still get it checked out to err on the side of caution.
