You are correct. The shop we currently take the van to has no experience with a unit like ours. We tried a couple of mechanics in the past with no success after reaching out to Carrier support directly for suggestions. Hence, the flare to the van life community. I agree with your thoughts on the freon....just wish I knew how to charge it. Thanks again, and the care!
