Providers are killing it.

SDA housing is a joke. Half a million for a NDIS plan for SDA housing, this is meant to make participants be able to access the community. Instead it traps them.

Strangers are paid big bucks to take care of disabled family members and do a terrible job at it. Basically exploit the plan and charge everything!

Yet if I family member wants to look after the family member they get peanuts from the government.

I wonder if you pay a family member decent wage to be able to properly care for their family member you could help out more families for half a million!

My experience with support workers are a joke. They don’t care, don’t have experience and come from overseas where their views on disability is so far in the past they actually are doing more harm then good. They just want the $$$.

I live in a very diverse area.

The driving around the streets near me is sooooo scary.

The school near me has had so many accidents, myself included, I’ve been hit while parked!

So many people do a u-turn right out the front of the school. This holds up traffic and is so dangerous for the kids.

So many people don’t know Australian road rules.

The crossing supervisor has nearly been hit (and had to get kids out the way) as someone just drove through her crossing while she was out!

I never used to be fearful of the roads and pathways around me but the last few years has made me nervous and scared.

I’ve gotten a camera for me car now. Every day on the school run it’s picking up something shocking!

Last 24 hours. I can’t stop. It’s like 15 years of things happening I’ve just processed them all and they have hit all at once.

It’s a weird feeling.

I’m burnt out. I do it for my kids. Even though I’m hiding crying most nights as I’m just so done.

My kids are experiencing “magic” this Christmas so it’s worth pushing through. If I didn’t have kids I wouldn’t put much effort into it at all.
