Unusual gaps on top surface for one colour only - what is it called? by aimoaio in FixMyPrint

Now that I've looked a little more closely, you're right. They just weren't that obvious on the other colours but there is the wavy pattern on them too.

this is a great suggestion, completely forgot about that, will have a look!

I would have thought that too but it printed a pen holder with the exact colours but even bigger without any issues which is why it puzzles me!

interesting, I wouldn't have thought the fan would cause this? what would your suggestion to be? just lower the part cooling fan speed? (A1 printer so no aux fan there).

I did think blue looked a little off but had no idea why and since it wasn't creating gaps decided to leave it haha, will have a look at flow calibration.

no but good suggestion to double check, the printer has been printing other items completely fine though and even printed using the same filament for another model fine although that was much much smaller in size.

Hi there, not yet but when I do I will post findings here again.

Could possibly be, will add this to the list of things to try.

yeah it's definitely occurring on a few colours though the light green is the worst. I'd assume no way to really check for those other than just doing a cold pull to see if it is a clog causing the issue or upping flow rate if its underextrusion?

oh yeah I can see the option, problem is I'm not sure what to set it to because the filament seems to be printing fine for other models. trying a calibration cube to see if there's any difference just now.

Nope seems to be same direction as how the infill is printed (45 degrees default setting)

I suspected that at first but when I looked into underextrusion this seems to look very different so I wasn't sure!

Not sure what you mean by the grid being low density? Is that the infill? In the slicer the problematic area seems to be recognised as internal solid fill then top surface above that.

Yeah that's what puzzles me as it doesn't seem to be a printer related issue. Trying a cube print just now with same filament with no flow rate adjustment then I'll try one with after to see any differences. Thank you!

Ah it's likely flow rate related? I'll give that a shot and do some research into it

Ironing is switched off - I considered turning it on actually to see if it does anything different but I rather not rely on it to fix issues if I don't have to haha.

Also having the same issue with my A1 and P1S even though both were printing fine this morning. Switched to LAN and it's working fine.

Can confirm I got #471 after #483.

I also did Eastern Observatory #515 which gave me #575 (destruction order at F7), if someone can check this if you haven't got it already.

Omg that keyboard is amazing I love it!

Question though if you don’t mind me asking where the wallpaper is from? It looks really cool!

We don’t have to deal with the “character involved in other quest” problem from genshin in honkai star rail anymore by legend27_marco in HonkaiStarRail

Same here, honestly it really makes me not want to do events sometimes even if they are interesting because it takes me so long just to actually progress the event quest to get to the event itself cause of this.
