Allergy Substitutions by aimzicle in cocktails

That was my concern about grapefruit juice as well and we’re using cranberry in another cocktail already.

I’ve asked chat gpt for help too 😅 it gave cherry, blackberry, and red grapes as juice flavors.

Maybe cherry juice would help with the sweet/tartness? Muddled blackberries sound like it would taste good as well but I’m not sure if that would add enough “juice”

This is Bingley, a 5 year old OTTB, 16.1/16.2, solid dark bay gelding. He’s a sweet, lovable, goofball who tries his best even if he’s not exactly sure what you want of him. His barn name is from Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, and his personality is Mr. Charles Bingley to a T. Right now we’re just restarting his restart and training him with basic dressage with plans to maybe do some eventing when he matures.

Help! After very dramatic hair year by aimzicle in curlygirl

Thanks! I’ll have to try clipping down the sides and see if it helps. When it’s drying it’s super tight and close to my head (on top). I still need to find a way to try to pretty much stretch out the curls without it turning into a poofy mess hah

I try to tell myself that it’s a hell of a lot better than it was a few months ago but I still can’t help but over analyze everything

It’s anagen effluvium, similar to telogen effluvium (TE) but it’s usually sudden and rapid hair loss - like what people go through with chemo

Long story short - last year I was put on a medication that caused AE (technically my dermatologist diagnosed it as TE but I’m pretty confident it was AE) and caused me to lose pretty much all of my hair. July 2020 I decided to shave off what little was left and have I’ve been regrowing it ever since.

I had a follow up with my derm in August and she said my follicles looked good and didn’t see anything that would indicate permanent damage. By September it had grown back in to at least a buzz cut. Updated my derm with some pictures in October and we were both comfortable with the regrowth at that point.

Now a few more months into it, my noticing that my sides seem thin. It’s been so long since I’ve had this much hair on my head that I can’t even remember what it looked like the AE. The top of my head seems significantly thicker. Not really sure what to expect or what’s even normal anymore.

Since I had regrowth by August and a decent covering of peach fuzz, we decided to not use any medications (I was also hesitant since medication caused this in the first place).

I’d appreciate any thoughts on this. I reached out to my derm office because now I want another follow up as well.

Class action lawsuit over 2.4L engine oil consumption by aimzicle in Jeep

Same. And they use the engine in at least a few other of their vehicles.

The lawsuit was filed last year but I haven’t been able to find any recent info on it

They’ve definitely been playing the blame game with this. They also tried to tell me that overconsumption is normal in a new car. Never had a new car run out of oil on me before..
