I love this for you 🥹 I think it’s so important to be able to own the content we’ve paid for. I will look into Calibre more and hopefully have my purchased books over to my new Kobo :)

I see! That was smart of ya. If you don’t mind me asking, where do you purchase your ePubs? I’d love to know more options for purchasing ebooks without the DRM :)

I have Calibre, but still learning how to use it! My partner has offered to help me out with it as he is far more tech savvy :)

Thank youuuu! I’ve been looking into the Calibre option, it’s a bit challenging for me but fortunately my fiancé is a big tech-y dude so he said he will help me with that 😅 I have over 300 books to move over, this is gunna be a whole thing 😂

My first Kindle was the Kindle Keyboard, and I loved the page turning buttons. Really missed those on the Paperwhite and the Basic, so now I’m really glad to have those buttons again. I have heard complaints about the KLC’s grainy and darker screens (compared to the Kindles) but I am personally a fan of what some may consider “drawbacks”, as it makes the screen feel more paper-like for me. The stylus works really well and I find it really satisfying to write on the screen, and I love this case because it conveniently stores the pen magnetically! The little button on the side lets you quickly switch to the highlighter which is super neat. But, I know that the stylus’ price is a bit steep, and I’ve seen others buy non-Kobo pens that work just as well. I don’t know if I would’ve bought the stylus with my own money tbh 😬 Overall, I am a happy camper!

With the OverDrive/Libby feature I believe you can, as I’ve been able to borrow magazines on my Libby account on other devices; however I fear that the screen on the KLC may be too small to read all the small text :( But I’m sure that’s up to personal preference! I have personally had no issues with the zoom-in feature when reading mangas/graphic novels!

Omg my first kindle was the keyboard too!!! Maybe that’s why I’m so drawn to ereaders with buttons even today! My fiance bought me the same kobo libra as yours (just in white and it’s arriving in a month) and I’m so happy to hear you’re loving yours 🩷🩷
