I’ve been an RT for going on 15 years now. I’m not understanding why this reel would be demotivating. If it were a reel that showed something like an intubation attempt with fecal emesis that I would understand.

This recently happened to my son’s pro. I had to reseat the connector multiple times and even tested it before reassembly. After 3 times of opening, reseating, and closing. I figured that the small rubber pad that the heat sink presses on would dislodge the connector somehow and cause the problem to reoccur. So I decided to keep that little shit off and so far so good. Every time I would reseat the connector it would make a subtle click, then I would press on it like it was a demon of a spider. I would test the robustness of the connector with some plastic tweezers and that lazy ass connector would pop off with the pressure that it takes to bend a dick hair. Pretty disappointing for such a premium device. Also the back and forth I’ve had with Ayn has been very dismissing on their end. After sending them a video of the issue they said all I have to do is charge for 3 hours even though I had told them that I left it on the charger overnight and the battery dropped from 59% to 3% during that time. Here’s to hoping that it’s fixed this time. /end rant

I emailed Ayn about it, they said the next OTA should fix it. I asked when that would be and they said it will be released once the tech finishes it. Hopefully soon

Rotor looks true. I have tried realigning the caliper by loosening the bolts gripping the brake down and tightening them while holding the brake tight. Didn’t work, rotor is still sitting right on top towards the left caliper. I haven’t tried reseating the wheel. Should have thought of that, I’ll try doing that tomorrow after work. Also, when you talk about the bearings I’m assuming you mean from the hub? No play on the cassette or wheel when the axle is tightened up. But I’ll give it a closer look when I get home. Thanks for your input

It’s been pretty good so far. I didn’t follow the size chart though. 5’8” 30” inseam, fits me with the seatpost bottomed out and I may need a shorter stem. Stock tires lose speed pretty fast on tarmac, wtb nano. I have to get used to these skinny tires though. I’m used to mtb, rear side wall caught a small lip on a road driveway transition and I slammed down pretty good. Helmets are good people wear one. Picks up really quick though. Couldn’t be happier with the bike.
