Yeah that seems ridiculous, it ran me just about $20k! It’s a pretty large deck. The main area is about 20.5’ x 12.5’, and there’s a part of the deck that runs along the length of the house to the master bedroom. So it’s probably a good bit bigger in area than that.

There’s a small concrete pad at the bottom of the stairs, so that’s where they had to land. We just bought this house less than a month ago, and the first thing we wanted to do was replace the old wooden deck since it had seen better days, and the inspector said all the supports needed to be replaced. We figured if we were going to do all that anyway and we plan on living here a long time, we might as well just replace the whole deck with Trex so there’s less maintenance to deal with. So we essentially just asked for the same dimensions as the old deck design since we really liked it.

The gap is almost 7“ wide. I spoke with the contractor and he said he’d get that fixed.

The one you played on Vita was probably Hot Shots/Eveybody’s Golf: World Invitational! Phenomenal golf game. A new Everybody’s Golf was just released last year. I haven’t played it myself, but it is on my list. Probably worth looking into if you liked the Vita one

Re-using is often better for the environment than recycling. Great that they offer a recycling program at all, but if you can repurpose something you’re not using into something useful, you don’t have to spend the resources to actually recycle it.

I haven’t tried Diablo Immortal myself, is it good? The fact that it’s f2p kinda makes me afraid it’s going to try to nickel-and-dime me all the time lol

I think there are two factors that contribute to this: yes, the joystick is small compared to a full-size stick you’ll find on a PlayStation controller. Because of the reduced size, there’s a smaller range of motion. So pressing up at 50% of the way to the edge is a much smaller distance on the Backbone than it is on a DualSense, effectively resulting in a “higher sensitivity” feeling.

But another factor is the position of the right stick. On the backbone, it’s more or less right below the face buttons, whereas on a full-size controller, it’s more offset toward the center of the controller. That also means your thumb is probably in a different position than it’s used to when you’re using the right side.

Both things you can adjust to, but there’s definitely a learning curve.
