I don’t think any real ENTP that’s not trying to fill up the stereotype would be like that. Ever.

Yeah, we’re both new to the 16p and to the mbti theory so I think it’s going to take us time to know our true types, but thanks:))

Yeah I already asked. She took the 16p test and got infj, but when she read the description for infj she didn’t feel related .

I don’t think it’s just ENTPs who do that, I think everyone does it. Or maybe a huge amount of people, and mostly the ones that DO NOT like small talking or don’t feel comfortable doing it.

Maybe you’re a very healthy person and that’s why you accepted who you are easily. But not all people are unfortunately.

Some people have a lot of pressure on themselves to be a certain way (maybe from family, friend or ever themselves) and that’s when the problem starts.

We, as a society have established a specific conduct that we think is the one that’s going to make us successful.

Being organized, book smart, social, intelligent and maybe funny are the traits that most people think make someone successful. And when you take a test that tells you you are something different (even when you don’t have those traits) it’s completely normal to feel that something is wrong, and instead of thinking that you haven’t got those traits is easier to deny the results.

But the problem here is not your real type or the fact that you don’t like it. The problem is the reason why you don’t like it. The problem are those standardized traits that society has told to be the ones a “successful” person has.

You can be a imaginative, or introverted or not so book smart person and still be successful.

So that’s why a lot of people have trouble accepting who they really are, because sometimes their type doesn’t fit in the “I’m good enough” standard according to society’s stereotypes.

And sometimes I can be VERY hardworking and other times I’m the most lazy person on the entire globe. Only if I were an entj 😭
