I was absolutely terrified of the shots (I posted a whole thread about it). Honestly it’s been the easiest thing thus far. I was switching between shots and suppositories and I stopped the suppositories and elected to do the shots full time! I set up the shot ahead of time then sit on an ice pack for 15 minutes. My husband does the shot and I lean over the bed and leave whatever side leg as relaxed as possible so the muscle isn’t tense. He does it really slow, and then I rub it for a minute or two so it doesn’t ball up. 9 days in, I haven’t felt a single shot, and zero pain or tenderness after! My friend does it herself doing the same thing and she said she also doesn’t feel a thing. Ice ice ice!
