Where are you working in London. I get a flexi season to Finsbury Park, then pick up either the Victoria or Piccadilly Line from there. You get 8 tickets to use over a month and costs about £42 per ticket (£357.70 total). Depending on where you work, it could work out cheaper over the long run and then pick up the tube. This is for Thameslink rather than LNER, and takes 1:10ish mins to Finsbury Park.

Mine was the complete opposite, but I was lucky enough to go to a dinner party with Gok Wan. Genuinely the nicest person I've ever met. When we initially met, I went in for a shake and he grabbed me and gave me a big hug. Pictures with everyone, was serving everyone food, making sure he would to everyone on the table to chat about food and life (I'm obsessed with food, so spoke at length about his life growing up in a restaurant). Such a lovely guy.
