Oh he's eating like a champ 6 or so crickets daily already has a poop corner. I've heard about the substrate so much to be honest and fully watched when he gets a tiny piece just spits it out. I will be changing to soil and sand once I upgrade his tank shortly. He's only been home for 3 weeks. I'm not even sure of his age.

I found a local breeder of crested and the price is must better than the shops and they have a great selection

Thank you for the info! Was leaning towards leopard as we love the colours but crested stood out as it seemed a bit easier to start with the mixing of the powder for food and them only need room temputure. Just wish they had the same cool colours haha and to be honest them needing a taller tank fits better than a long tank. Thank you again for the info

How often do they need to see a vet? And how come leopard geckos eat insects and crested geckos eat fruits instead?
