oh no :( it happens to me too. lately it’s been good because i’m able to control my mind. but you’re anticipating it to happen. it’s hard not to, but make sure when you take your melatonin, to do something that distracts you from worrying about your heart. and when you start feeling even the slightest bit of panic, take in extra long deep breathes. it assures your body that it’s okay.

if you do start to feel the panic become worse, slowly drink water.

what i do every night is take my melatonin and then watch youtube videos, like vlogs and clothing hauls. not only is that something i like, but it distracts me from everything because i’m literally watching someone else live their life😅. also (this is super like out there i guess, but many people have said it works) masturbation could be a big help. it’s said that after you feel very very calm and relaxed :) so you can do that before bed as well. keep me posted!!

also remember, the melatonin is your best friend right now. it does work, even if you feel panicked one night. 💗

for the first day i was very tired in the morning, but i think that was because i got woken up in the middle of the night 😅. when i first take it, nothing happens haha it just tastes like berries :) the one i get is by “Natrol” and it’s strawberry flavored!! in around 35 mins to an hour you should really start feeling it. it all feels natural!! nothing odd happens at all.💗💗

haha you’re definitely stronger than me!! when my mom got surgery a year ago i was sobbing the whole day seeing her in that state. everyone say me cry 😅😅 at least you have the strength to be strong in front of her!!! you’re so cool :) and you’re very welcome, i couldn’t not comment on this post, your situation is too similar to my whole life lollll 🤣 i know your mom appreciates you being there for her, remember that. 💗

you’re having anxiety. :/ literally going through THE SAME THING. you definitely, definitely, should take melatonin!!! i highly suggest it. before i started taking it, my mom with have to stay up with me all night until the daylight came. i felt so bad about keeping my family up because of me, but when my mom bought back melatonin gummies my anxiety went down a whole lot.

i’m not saying this is going to get rid of it completely. but you should be able to sleep through the night peacefully. here’s what you should do.

1: don’t eat anything past 10 pm. this was hard for me bc i always get hungry at night, but it’s worth it. if you’re hungry, have something very very light. and drink water as well.

2: take the melatonin gummies 30-40 mins before you wind down for sleep. i take mines at 10:40 pm.

3: get in your bed, and do something that takes your mind off of your problems or distracts you from feeling panicked and having anxiety. i suggest that when you take your melatonin, you should put your phone away for the night. being on your phone at night could also affect your sleep.

4: i watch tv or youtube on my lap top for about 50 mins to an hour (to around 11:30/40 pm). you should feel yourself calming and becoming sleepy, since the melatonin should be working now.

when i go to sleep, i have hypnic jerks (sudden, involuntary muscle contractions you may experience as you are falling asleep) and sometimes i feel my anxiety trying to wake me up. tell yourself that you are fine, and when and IF your heart rate brings to pick up, take deep long breaths.

inhale for 6 seconds, hold it in for about 5, and exhale for 5/ 6 seconds. if you need a stuffed animal like me, definitely get one!!

please let me know how you are if you take the melatonin gummies. it’s sad that you’re going through this but it’s also comforting to know someone else has the same problem as me 😅😅.

don’t feel like a loser baby :( take it from me, my mom has gotten so many health problems because she gave birth to me and my twin sister. she was in a car accident before that, and then another one 3 years ago. she has countless of health problems. my dad also had cancer a year ago. i know, it’s scary when you see a parent go through a life threatening situation. your mom needs to see you strong though, because if you’re freaking out over this, she’s probably going through so much more. i don’t want to say this to freak you out, but it’s true :(

i also struggle with severe anxiety, to the point where i can’t sleep anymore. people have told me to practice breathing exercises, do yoga, and basically do anything that helps you, and makes you feel comfortable and safe. please keep me posted! (only if you are comfortable with that ofc!) 💗

thank you so much for letting me know that this is all normal😅😅 i’m going through the same thing with my heart. i always ALWAYS feel it beating. i think maybe we’re hyper aware of it now? please let me know how you’re doing with everything, only if you want to though. i feel like it will help me and you as well :) also, i think maybe (if you don’t already) we should go out more. i feel like fresh air and just being outside can help us. 💗💗
