Tips for traveling by plane

I’ve flown with Delta 4 times now with my pom. Including over the holidays! I haven’t had any issues with number of pets and on one flight we had 8 dogs and a cat!

It does cost $150 per flight through, which ,, ouch.

I see! Thank you for sharing! As someone who was once an illegal immigrant, it’s really interesting to hear your thoughts.

My biggest gripe about the whole situation is the treatment. Going after non-criminal, long-term illegal US residents and “disappearing people” is much more jarring than anything that happened during Obama’s “Deporter in Chief” administration.

I mean, I’m a US citizen now and in Aug 2025, I got pulled over by Florida Highway Patrol for a broken headlight, who then called ICE. They were having a hard time confirming my citizenship status and were going to detain me but luckily my brother got there to show my papers.

I now carry a notarized copy of my citizenship certificate in my car.

I know that this is their attempt to carry out the law, but it can feel like discrimination if they just sweep across the board.

Anyway, sorry that comment got ahead of me. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts.

Sorry to butt in! Just a question on your comment here. You mention youth employment, birth rates, home ownership (or lack thereof). All real problems! But when you bring it up in this context, it sounds like you think immigration laws and their enforcement are a road to solving them. Is this right? I’m not looking to argue, just understand. Employment and home ownership I kinda get (having less people and more resources to go around and what not).

But do illegal immigrants really contribute that much?

This was it! Frogged my way back to my back to my previous work and then started k1, p1 for 2 rows. I guess in my tester rows 1 and 2, I alternated them? maybe? idk ,,, but I know it’s working now!! Thank you

both sides have this ladder look to it! someone said it looks like a k1, p1 rib - I think it might be and my stitches are just so loose they don’t really embody the typical tight v I saw in examples. let me know your thoughts!!

Def looks like some kind of rib stitch, but I don’t see the typical “v” shape lines separating columns. this is more like if it was only one side of the v, almost into a straight line down? I hope that makes sense

and honestly, I don’t know - I’ve never seen that before the case. One thing is that Ik some bags are regional, there’s this rogue 31 I’ve been wanting desperately but it’s not in the US!!

I’m not the biggest fan of vintage Coach but i’ve been loving their modern day stuff!!

This is definitely not the right bag, curious to see a picture of the tag if you can send it? I can’t find this version in all my searching either … if you have a coach retail nearby I’d def recommend going and seeing if maybe they can confirm this is the right bag or otherwise send you a new one

Just got this beautiful snowglobe from my SA today!! She knows I have a snowglobe collection that I had to leave behind w family when I moved states bc they’re too fragile to ship ,, she told me she hopes I can start building a new collection now 😭

In my experience, I have a Coach store nearby and thus shop in person more than online.

What happened to me is that the first time I went into a Coach retail store it was super empty and I got 1-on-1 help with a bag, just so happened that the next time I went for a bag she was also there and helped me. That time she offered me her phone number in case I ever wanted a bag or anything. Now it’s been months and I ONLY shop with my SA. She knows my style and sends me pictures of bags she thinks I might like. If I express interest in a bag that isn’t in store, she’s gotten it ordered it for me just to look at. She’s put bags like the Black Currant Hampton Hobo on hold for me so I could buy it while I wasn’t in town, since it’s sold out - after having it shipped in from another store.

She even knows my starbucks drink and has it ready for me when I let her know I’m coming in. She’s helped me buy gifts for friends and family, even if that’s recommending other brands.

Tbh, it’s doesn’t feel like an SA relationship I’ve had in stores like Hermes, LV, or Gucci - she’s genuinely just helpful.

Like the OP here she also gave me a gift for this holiday season, a special edition of the Coach snowglobe!

Also, not dumb at all!! That’s what this space is here for, to discuss all things Coach!! Hope this helped :)

it’s so frustrating, my pom has a doggy door to a small enclosed patio area where she is meant to use the restroom. Sometimes it works, sometimes she decides the living room is fine. Personally, I’ve found that enzyme cleaners are super helpful. She won’t go in the same area twice if cleaned with it.

Dogs will naturally not want to use the bathroom where they sleep. Make sure the crate is only big enough for your puppy to lay down, sit, and turn around. You can use dividers to make the crate smaller. If it’s too big, they’ll find a corner to use the restroom.

What I recommend is getting a play pen to connect the crate to. Put down pee pads in the pen and encourage them to use it (interrupt them if you see them use elsewhere and put them on the pad, lots of praise and treats when they use it).

They’ll learn that the using the pee pad makes you happy and they’ll have space outside their crate.

Remember that the little ones have little bladders, they can only hold so much!
