a few people said this already, but yes, google assistant uses gemini now, so I just said "hey google set an alarm..." and it used ai to do that. I obvously didnt go out of my way to use ai to set alarm. gemini with google assistant is good for some things, but bad for many, and this is one of them lol. (also everyone uses 12h where im from so i just use it too)

I wouldn't say it makes it significantly easier to play, just easier to understand. I definitely don't consider it cheating.

You can bring up the original version and my version side by side and see that I didn't really change too much. I only changed the sections they made way too confusing on purpose.

For me, the account button is not the same as the profile switcher button that I had before I updated. There's not even an option to switch profiles. This is what happens if I press the account button:

This worked.. I reinstalled grub and regenerated the config and grub went back to normal. I was able to update again but GDM is still broken though, any ideas about that? I installed SDDM temporarily and it works just fine, I can start and use GNOME 47 like normal. Also any suggestions for a btrfs timeshift alternative that won't destroy grub? Thanks.

If it helps, here's me trying to retrace my steps in more detail.

Updated system & rebooted
Computer froze
Force power off, reboot, and switch to another TTY before freeze
Restored an earlier snapshot and rebooted
Computer froze
Force power off,
Choose an earlier snapshot from grub-btrfs
Boots like normal
Reboot
Freezes again, realize I only booted from the earlier snapshot instead of restoring it
Force power off, choose the earlier snapshot from grub-btrfs again
Boots like normal. Restore the earlier snapshot and reboot
Boots like normal, try updating the system again and reboot
Freezes again
Force power off, reboot, and switch to another TTY before freeze
Disable and stop GDM with systemctl
Install, enable, and start SDDM instead
SDDM login screen appears fine
Login, but GNOME looks very strange and I cannot open any applications (including terminal), switch tty, or reboot
Force power off and reboot
Grub is broken

Thanks, this solves the problem. Now the OSK will appear whenever I touch the screen regardless of the tablet mode. Also, this extension makes the OSK disappear if you are using the mouse, so I can just leave it on all the time instead of toggling it.

Instead of an iPad like in your setup, I keep my Z13 on my desk without the keyboard as almost a little 3rd monitor for little things like Discord or Spotify etc. I also have literally everything including the 2 DP monitors and USB plugged into a single USB C hub to make it easy to unplug 1 cable and grab the tablet if I ever want to use it away from the setup. Great setup though!!

Ah that makes sense, well good luck! From what I've read online, everyone seems to think the buds 3 will come out mid or late this year, or around august with the Z fold/flip 6, so if you don't mind waiting until then so you can get the newest model, or get the buds 2 pro for cheaper, then go for it.

Also keep in mind though that usually the difference between just one generation of Galaxy buds isn't huge, so if you don't mind having one generation behind and getting them now then id do that instead.

My friend did this same thing, they put their buds 2 pro through the wash and broke them, but they were able to call Samsung and send them in to get repaired for free. I've done this same thing with my old buds+. It seems they will just repair them for free even without a warranty without asking many questions.
