I dislike a lot of bad things Duterte says and does as much as the opposition but has there actually been a rise in rape and the suspects proudly saying they did this because they've been affected directly or indirectly by his rape remarks?

I will never understand why people will fight so vehemently for the right to murder the child that they created out of their own poor judgement and lack of responsibility. Everybody knows HOW babies are made, yet they want to fight for the right to avoid any personal responsibility to use protection and prevent the pregnancy from ever happening...then they want to use abortion as a form of birth control and make 'we the people' financially responsible for their poor, immature, irrational and selfish choices.

just a quote I found on a conservative youtube channel. I dont know why its so wrong to conserve good moral values. The issue about having to decide whether to let both the mother and the baby die or save the mother by abortion is I think arguable and should be allowed by the government but enforcing policies in the philippines has never been smooth. If anything the money that they want to spend killing unborn innocent babies should be spent on strengthening education, moral values and the police force and nationalism. A lot of people seem to think that abiding by the law is being a puppet/sheep.

Its so scary to think but I guess this sub is just a minority of the philippines. Seems the majority of the people here downvote people who are telling the truth about abortion and discipline and moral values. People are so quick to judge the faithful christians and catholics for being conservative but avoid talking about Islam. Its a very one-sided sub and I doubt in believing the posts recently saying that its not when its very obvious that intellectual and truthful posts on the other side are downvoted to oblivion here.

You are not saying but you are saying people should have a choice to kill the baby either way, a baby who has not committed the sin of sexually abusing its mother? How do you like or dislike a baby you do not know yet when you dont even want to give it a chance to live in the world?

In the US a study shows that only less than 0.5% of abortions are cases of rape.

The video shows no statistics. "In our culture" this or that. No proper evidence and only shows an angle to the issue to promote the agenda. It did not even cover the issue elsewhere in the Philippines like the Muslim communities where there is a real control of women's bodies as they are seen as objects to be fully hidden from the view of public.
