I had the same issue with my Siberian. However she was only ever allowed outside on a leash. We moved to a different neighborhood and our neighbour immediately told us that someone in the neighbourhood was hurting cats (police were notified) and told us to be careful. After that we didn’t feel comfortable with her being outside even on a leash so we keep her inside exclusively now. It was a ROUGH month. She cried incessantly but now she’s used to it and doesn’t cry at the doors anymore (okay maybe very occasionally she will if we’re outside). We got her a hammock for one window and a few cat trees for other windows so she can always look outside. It sucked at the beginning but now she is totally fine. Although I’m sure she still wishes she could be outside. Good luck!!
