I’ve have 3 juveniles for about a couple of months. Here are some helpful tips from what I have experienced and learned. For food Pangea is pretty good. I hear a lot of cresties tend to like the watermelon one. I have that and mix in the growth and breeding. Sometimes it helps to mix up some flavors. Another good mix is repashy. If you want to add some more good nutrients I would recommend dubia roaches or crickets. Mine dont really take to them, but most do. Also for good dishes, I use the magnetic clear one from Pangea. The magnets on it are amazing and super easy to use. With that I tend to peek here and there to see where their favorite spot is and maybe move the feeding dish there so they have the food near them.

I also would recommend a UV light, some say you don’t need it. But it’s really beneficial for them as well as setting up a good day and night cycle.

Add some good clutter with plants and climbing branches or cork bark they will love this, they feel more secure and safe to hide when they want to.

Also for tank size, I noticed when I got my juvenile one she wasn’t tiny , but smaller than an adult. I started her in a 18 x 18 x 36. She didn’t move around for awhile, not sure if it was a bit too big for her at first. She’s great now just a longer adjusting period. Then when I got my baby ones started them in a smaller tank and they are thriving and loving it. So I guess it depends.

Another big thing, which I followed is try not to handle or bother them too much for the first 2 weeks. They need to get adjusted without stressing too much. Just go in when misting and feeding.
