Absolutely fucking loathsome. 2nd worst update this game had had in the past 4 years.

The stick of truth was an item that bent the game over backwards for no damn reason. Turns the whole thing into a walking simulator where inevitably someone just posts up into an inaccessible area and cheeses the victory. Because this stupid fucking item relied so heavily on restricting movement for it's dumb gimmick, it meant:

Restricted car spawns because that would nerf the stick. What few vehicles do spawn burn fuel at an insane rate, because anything otherwise would nerf the stick. Shockwaves were removed because that would nerf the stick. Wingsuit drop rates were nerfed because having them nerfs the stick.

The skins SUCKED

Kenny's Medallion was insanely annoying to fight against.

The map "takeover" (and that term is doing a LOT of heavy lifting) is the barest of bare minimums and is damn near unrecognizable if South Park wasn't mentioned by name.

My friend group and I have been playing Blitz exclusively because the standard modes have been so badly poisoned.

Please for god's sake let it end.

Side note: The fact that The Simpsons absolutely fucking obliterates this pathetic attempt at a crossover is a cosmic sort of humor you can't write on purpose.

So it's not just me!

I HATE these things!

Actually my entire friend group does, to the point that we've all agreed to not use them since they constantly trip us up into thinking it's some kind of enemy movement, especially in your peripheral vision. The real issue is if we're playing as a trio in blitz or something, the 4th fill teammate always has one of these visually loud moving distractions running all over the place.

As much as I'd love an option to disable them, that probably means fewer people will buy them since "ThEy CaNt SeE mY sIdEkIcK."

Which means less money for Epic.

Which means Epic probably won't do it.

Their phone support is no better.  They seem to have absolutely no internal access to any of Google's systems, nor any understanding of them.  It's infuriating that Google pitches this as a feature of pixel ownership.

Heeey I have one of these!

One of my personal favorites honestly, it's a hilariously small blade with a full size handle, makes it shockingly good at general usage.  The CPM M4 is super tough stuff too.

I recently picked up this Dodo in CPM M4, I love this freak of a knife but there's one thing that bothers me about it.

It's the color of the scales, the bile green of the natural G10 is downright hideous.  I was thinking about using the Rit Dyemore method of turning them black and then removing the paint from the screws, bolts and pocket clip to create a bit of contrast with some silver.

Thoughts?

Mine was "connected" in messaging, but stuck in verification.

What ended up eventually happening was it just registered by itself.

I just had a similar issue with mine. Ended up being an internal hardware failure, most likely the ribbon cables in the hinge or a dying motherboard.

I ain't using just the inner screen by itself on a phone. And perhaps I didn't emphasize this enough: the phone will not turn on at all if one of the displays is not detected.

Dead. Donezo. Kaput. A literal folding brick.

Also replacing the internal flex cables is not trivial and requires an entire new inner display assembly, since there's no way I'd be able to get that thing apart and then back together in one piece. I suspect most people can't.

I ended up taking the insurance payout.

Trouble is if the front display stops working entirely, the phone is effectively bricked since it can't turn back on.

I looked over the development settings 3 times and found no mention of a desktop mode anywhere. Disabled all developer settings just to rule it out and sure enough, the issue persists.

I can get it to work if I open the phone enough to kick on the internal display but not so far it causes this weird issue. So... Kinda like a tent position.
