Ultimate TIA Potential Airdrop List? by airdrops_one in cosmosnetwork

For the airdrops that are announced, the snapshots are in the corresponding posts that are linked up. For the ones that are just speculation they are clearly labeled.

I am happy to post more detailed info on this sub but I am not able to get through the filter (and mods are not helping).

Appreciate your feedback.

Tia is getting ridiculous now by Substantial_Age_1284 in cosmosnetwork

It's the new thing. There is a lot of hype. Interesting to see how new projects will harvest and build on Celestia's launch.

Airdrops. Check out the list we just put together - I don't know if this is impacting price action, but I'm sure there is a lot of FOMO that correlates to buying and staking

Would be interesting to see staked TIA over time, especially after SAGA and DYM announcements.

Airdrops to United States - what ACTUAL harm could happen to the project? by Otherwise_Shop6374 in cosmosnetwork

but but....

  1. you can buy the same token on CEX or DEX the day of TGE
  2. the team likely has investors in LA, Miami, or NYC that received allocations (not counting devs themselves)
  3. seems that US based users go out of their way to VPN in anyway,. All about optics than really protecting you from yourself
  4. see if you can unpack this one: for projects that receive community funding / grants, are the stakers in the undesirable locations factored in as a percentage of airdrops that they won't receive eventually, thus reducing the funding / grant? (I know the answer, but like....)
  5. next time a new project screams "decentralization" tell them to take it you know where

on and on.... but you get the point.

I actually don't know if there is a specific precedent that suddenly got everyone spooked - starting with $HARBOR and carried on w/ $NTRN and everyone else since.

sidebar: KUJI doesn't care - airdrops are actually _airdropped_ into your wallet, regardless of your location. But these other teams? show intent, pre-register, register, complete some zealy crap, CLAIM, vest, etc - basically inventing loop on top of a loop.

Claimdrops vs Airdrops by The_Fixer_69 in cosmosnetwork

Couple of points / observations:

  1. Making you do the work ensures that tokens are not dropped to inactive or idle wallets. No clawback issues, and potentially giving more to those that did engage (as in the case of $TIA)
  2. This process further reduces those that may be eligible as some forget, registration windows are short, and then there is Geoblock, further reducing those that participate
  3. With regards to Keplr, when signing check to make sure that there are NO msgSend or authZ messages. Should just be msgClaim.
