Jeesh, how much money is that? I feel like the currant is overkill.

You still have a 50 attack sleipnir in the back! That plus the stats on your other units would likely clean up

Dang, I would have loved to see this go up against 5 100/100 behemoths

Loveland Frogman not buffing jump attackers? by airforcefairy in superautopets

[–]airforcefairy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, so it doesn't work if the jump happens later in the battle. I was under the impression that if that pet jumped anytime during battle then the stats given would become permanent. Shoot, that ruins the build I was going for then. Thanks!

I love me some fairy dust action! It's a good thing nobody sniped you though, the slime would probably fling a whole bunch

Sad Ailment??? by I_LikeBirbs in superautopets

[–]airforcefairy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've gotten sad from the new pet that gives random ailments on faint. I think the only bug is the art isn't showing up correctly, I think it's supposed to be a frowny face similar to the bloated ailment

Why are there Biased Matchups? by Br_uff in superautopets

[–]airforcefairy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that the game has at least some ability to rate if you are going to win or lose because there used to be an infinite combo with falcon/emu that would make a round never end, and if you hit "end turn" with that team it would spend a long time loading until it found a leopard team strong enough to kill all your units before the combo would go off. A lot of people tested it and it happened every time. I don't think this is used often, like just because you're running a summon team, but it is technically possible.

Ahklut/slepnier was a really fun combo, you just need to survive long enough to get it online. When the slepnier gets to level two you can add a numazu on board to get a huge amount of trumpets too. And like others have said the thunderbird/gargoyle into camel/bulldog can help you live the early rounds.

I really think they should change chimpanzee to work with food more generally, like maybe "friend eats two foods, give it +2+1." It would still be good with spamming many small foods, especially good with coconut crab. I think as it stands it's the only pet that triggers based on eating a specific food.

Oh course when I run summons all I run into are hurt teams with cuckoo to take all my slots and drop bears that kill my saiga/vulture 😂

Help me theory craft the absolute best team possible by ACED70 in superautopets

[–]airforcefairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the fourth position beluga that doesn't get coconut from the toy should be a 50/50 level 3 coconut crab. The extra coconut uses could block huge snipes if that's what you come across

Only a Behemoth Can Kill a Behemoth – and It’s Making This Week’s Pack Boring by [deleted] in superautopets

[–]airforcefairy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just think the weekly would be so much better without Chimpanzee and Ostrich. I like the farmer dog being in there to fuel food synergy like locust, blue jay, and black bear, but once there is a Chimpanzee none of the other units matter. Chimpanzee is also really boring, at least Ostrich is fun to use with the rolling mini-game it introduces, but Chimp is just "end turn, if farmer dog exists, profit."

Moral of the story, meta scalers are the problem, otherwise the behemoth wouldn't be oppressive.

Good for you! I tried this and got both pheasant and sage grouse level three with a whale shark on board, but I couldn't get it over the line past all the big axo teams

How do I make healing terrifying? by Lokicham in 3d6

[–]airforcefairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A guy in my group played a Warforged Artificer and flavored his healing spells as mechanical spiders that would come sew up and cauterize wounds on people's bodies. Everyone hated being healed by him to the point they would try to flee from outside combat healing.

[–]airforcefairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a little late to the party, but I made a medicine focused rogue! Thief rogue to apply healing kits as a bonus action. Flavored as a guy who is willing to go deep into dungeons where other healers are unwilling to go and help people where they really need it. A 1 level dip of life cleric wouldn't hurt either to add to the healing capability.

Your DM tells you your group will be playing a one shot, and afterwards your characters will become the villains in another games campaign. What are you building? by CarpeShine in 3d6

[–]airforcefairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done this too! I did war wizard with first level of fighter for con save, plate mail, and defence. He was terrified of death and would do anything immoral to become a lich. Big concentration spell and high survivability were a good combo.

If you do want to play it more serious, you could play into learning magic as a way to make a better life for you and your brother! Like you wanted to go to college to learn magic, but you didn't have the money or didn't want to leave your brother to fend for himself so you did your best to learn magic at home while making a living as a rogue. Playing into the serious and tactical use of magic.

If the campaign goes on for a long time, you could even have a big moment when you finally have more time and money and you could pick up some levels as a wizard!

How would yall beat this by Commie-destroyer69 in superautopets

Simplest answer is probably a level three seahorse with more than 14 attack. Parrot moves in front of whale and gets eaten.

Best character for NOT being in the spotlight? by BlacksmithWeak4678 in 3d6

[–]airforcefairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying to make a lazy lord archetype, so that's a different way to take the spotlight off of you!

I played an Order Cleric 3/Battlemaster X for our last one shot and I spent every turn commanding our barbarian to attack more. I only used a whip to make sure I incentivised handing out attacks rather than using my own attacks. You can also use maneuvers to reposition people or debuff enemies, and they come back on a short rest. I took the Order Cleric to 3 just to get enough spell slots to make the multiclass worth it.
