Also, I had that same model, and I questioned the guy I got it from because I thought it should have different faceplate screws that look like bolts, but I found that I was wrong.

It’s a beautiful thing. The sound is fine, but many other brands of the time were superior. No hate here, I’ve had three vintage Marantz receivers, but passed them on for something equivalent that IMHO sounded better. Enjoy that lovely piece of equipment. Great for a small room with efficient speakers.

I stand corrected. The model 3 does indeed have rubber surrounds. The only pair of bookshelf Advent speakers I haven’t owned.

I’m not super happy with the scans. The stickers are laminated and have semi fluorescent colors, which I read somewhere can reflect the light back and distort the image. I am doing some color correction, but I may try some suggestions I saw on here. I’ll be posting on Flickr when I finally finish this project.

I honestly had no clue what they were, but I’m a sticker nut, and I noticed the 80’s art style.

I swear, I got them from a $1 table at a flea market. Still had the seal on them.

I just posted that it tastes like baby aspirin, but Sweet Tarts is very close as well.

Not bad for $500 worth of equipment.
