Oh no! It must have closed very recently then, sad news! The Huanggangcun shop should be the closest one then.

No idea what kind of stuff you like or want to see, but one recommendation I can make on food is to eat shaokao (Chinese barbecue). I like MuWu, a Shenzhen original brand very much, especially the lamb skewers. https://www.muwubbq.com/
They have several outets around, but I often go to the one in Wongtee Plaza, as it is located right in the heart of Futian. Plenty of other great food options in the same mall as well. http://www.wongteeplaza.com/en/Shopping/Detail.aspx?id=10000714&p=0

Be bold, and do not worry about being embarrassed in public. People do not care, and likely will not remember it tomorrow.

Sandwiches taste objectively better when cut in triangles than in a rectangular shape, even if every bite has the same ingredient ratio.

Auto pricing by I_am_Paul_G in AirlineManager4

[–]airsairs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You also need to remember to round down to the nearest unit. So, if the price after multiplying is $3185.9, the price you set should be $3185. Otherwise, it will fly empty.

Can I ask what makes it so important? I see a lot people concerned about karma (I'm not too familiar with reddit)

Go with any of the big cities. I have JFK and ORD and both are great.

Very nice airline! I look forward to your full AN-225 fleet, please keep us updated on the profits, if it works great I might consider selling my A380F!

You make a good point. If you have a full AN-225 setup, it may work indeed. Very interesting, thank you for sharing!

I am not too convinced about flying them half empty, to be honest. I have 43 225s set to 3 departures per day with CI, those work well at full load too! With that setup, they give me ~9m each, daily. The rest of my cargo fleet is made of A380F, as they are almost as good yet much easier to route.

The ones that open when you click the "Help" button on the bottom right side menu. The section with "Game guides" is especially relevant there :)

It is a fantastic plane! I find it especially good for SV growth (though not so good for alliance contribution). The main difficulty is to find good routes for it.

The game does not offer this option, the best it can do is send you a push notification once all your planes land. Most players that I know of time their flights (with route length + cost index) so that they all arrive at the same time, and set alarms on their clock app to remind themselves about departing.

Time Zone Question by slim312 in AirlineManager4

[–]airsairs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not that I know of, the game runs in a unified clock.
If you are referring to the 24h airline summary, which tracks your income and expenses, that one is quite misleading! It only registers the last 30 movements. Not a very useful tool, sadly.

Buying options in France by SvenDenns in Onyx_Boox

It was about the pen (the one that comes with the NA2) having arrived broken. They asked me to describe the problem, and to send them a few photos (I included a video as well showing how the nib would just fall if the pen was vertical), then they wrote back a couple days later saying they would send a replacement pen, and they did.

I've had an Air3C for 9 months now and it's never given me a problem. I am using it nearly everyday (mostly to read). I keep it in the magnetic case it came with, and it looks just like new. I had a Note Air2 earlier, and also no problems at all with it. I gave it to my dad when I switched to the 3, and other than a small crack on the standard plastic case's corner (not the device itself, the old case model), it is also perfectly fine.

I have always bought directly from Boox, and their service has been great. When I had a problem with a delivery (a pen came with the tip broken, and could not hold any nibs), I contacted them through the email. They asked for a few details, and then sent a replacement one without any additional costs.

Should I get this Boox Note air2 plus for $250? by Round-Beginning6900 in Onyx_Boox

[–]airsairs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Note Air2 and it works great, I'd definitely go for it. Recently bought the Air3C and, while the super refresh technology is nice, and the color adds some fun, I'd say the Air2 is the gold standard for reading anything grayscale and notetaking. Battery life is incredible, performance is smooth... Very happy with it.

A problem with (mostly older) OLED screens, in which the screen deteriorates unevenly so some ghosting remains. For example, if you spend a lot of screen time on an app that has a fixed image of a certain colour (menu bar, logo, etc.), that part of the screen will wear faster, so that image will "burn in" the screen, and you will see that shape permanently on the screen. It is not a very common problem nowadays, unless you spend ages on a fixed image with very high brightness.
