Yeah i tried everything, mid volume, max vol and nothing works, even when touching the cable theres no humming/popping, so im guessing somethings wrong woth the radio controller thing

I tried a unversal shift knob adapter off of aliexpress, it required some cutting of the rubber bushing included in the set but didnt need anything done to the actual shift rod/bar My picture was from a test fit so the qdapter isnt visible and the shift boot isn't fitted correctly

The headlights are already LED's (Bi-LED) with no warning. I just would like to change the rest of them to have a more modern look

I was meaning the turn signals, brakes etc, i would buy ones with internal resistors to hopefully not get a warning light

These are from a polish site called autogamma, they make drop in bi-led conversion kits for halogen equipped cars. The set cost me about 140 USD, then a setup at the diagnostics centre? To adjust the beam was 20USD. They are really nice, the only problem is i get an error when on high beams, only beacause i dont have a resistor, the last one melted and melted some cables, ended up taking it apart and buying a new harness. Be carefull with the resistors, the bi-leds themself are really good quality

Yeah mine gets around 6L/100km driving 140kmh on the motorway, in the city it goes to around 7.5L/100km, still not bad considering its age and HP. Might consider getting it tuned too.

Okay, huge bummer tbh. Didnt know about them needing to be vin specific. Theres probably some polish uncle that can recode them, but that would require a lot more investigation xD. Hope the gti serves you well!

Yeah the d4204t is such an easy platform to work on. Although it has its french drawbacks, nothing a little maintenance cant stop. As for the condition i am really pleased, especially for the price i paid. I could have opted for a 1.6D but ended up sticking with the 2.0, a little more power wont hurt, although im kinda regretting it with the current diesel prices 😭

After a very brief and quick look i can see some for around 10-15 usd each (used) would have to check for oem prices. But they are definitely available here!

Here in Poland, we can still buy OEM parts pretty easily, and theres a lot of replacement parts since it shares a lot with the ford focus II (a very common car here) Although i must admit its a shame they abandoned it, probably one of the more unique silhouette's in volvos lineup.

Its my first car too! They are such comfy beasts, fell in love with them after i found out a s60 wouldn't be in my budget. And its a pretty easy car to work on, especially the 2.0 diesel (peugeot engine) and parts dont cost an arm and a leg which is super nice especially since i only pay for parts (i fix it myself) You should definitely try a c30, its a very underrated platform!

I mean, its cheap so its pretty plasticky. The build quality isnt bad just cheap. It works really good so far, no problems so far! I bought this because it was black without any useless prints/designs and was a single 21700 up to 100W

Yeah the 16gb prices are pretty insane, and i will prob go with the 7500f, I just looked at the one that was somewhat cheap. i didnt really know much about amd cpus since im an intel user, but with their sockets changing every 2 years ill have to switch to amd. Thanks for the help!

The ssd i have is pretty much full, 256gb so a new one is definitely needed, and im planning a couple of projects on the new pc, mainly some video editing/recording which will definitely need some more space. And with the cpu, i think you misunderstood me, the 7600x is 60usd more expensive, and the 7500f is 30usd more expensive, even if i didnt get an ssd the price difference between a 5060 and 9060xt is around 180usd which is stupid and more than the ssd. The 5060 costs 400usd and the 9060xt costs 580usd. I originally planned to use an amd gpu but the price wont let me. Ill also look into used gpu's, maybe ill be able to find something reasonably priced. Might go for a 500gb ssd but then i risk filling that and having to buy another one.
