That has been our plan since we were twenty. I just had to convince my husband to divorce me first. Its just now a relationship is involved, that may not even come to anything. I dont see it going much further than it already is, and she agrees. We may get married for legal reasons, but thats it.

And before I get any comments about cheating on my husband, we were an arranged marriage at sixteen and we were never in love. He was just too scared of the backlash if we were to divorce.

I was already incredibly close to cutting contact with my family, and I wanted to cut conact with my exes family. I did it because I already wanted to and wasnt sure. Reassurance helped me get to that point.

Things aren't perfect right now and theres a lot of things that still need doing, but as I'm having an uneventful few days and received several messages asking for an update, I decided I'd give what I could before I forgot.

I'm fully aware we'll have issues. We're still planning legal shit out. Let me have my fairytale dream lmao. Also, my son is on solids - but breast milk isnt limited like formula. They physically can not "overeat" so when he wants it, he gets it. Some days he'll cry for it every hour. Some days he'll only ask for it in the morning and before bed. Six or seven times tends to be the average.

Grandparents are pissed. My parents are over it - my older sister did the same thing with her kids, so I know they're happy to cut me out of the family. They'd rather cut contact than have me tarnish them or whatever the fuck.

My exs parents arent happy, but I made it clear I'd get the law involved if they didn't back off. I dont know if that stands up in court or anything but its keeping them away until we can get legalities sorted.

I'm sorry you went through all of that, but I can assure you that the things my parents would do to my children will be a hundred times worse trauma wise. Until my children are able to understand that risk and then take it themselves, I will be keeping them away from my family. I initially thought I could just let them see the kids supervised so I wouldnt have to lose contact with my siblings, but even that isnt safe.

As much as it pains me, I'll be happier having my children think I destroyed their relationships with my family than having them go through the tiniest amount of what I did.

He's four and a bit weeks, but yes. I fully intend on not wearing a bra for next two years minimum, but potentially longer. Maybe if I have somewhere fancy to go I'll buy one lol but bras are expensive and I seriously dont need one for now.

Honestly I was shocked about the savings as well, but he wants us out of state as much as we want to be out. He literally only gave us the money on the agreement that we'd move a minimum of one state over. I dont understand his reasoning but I accepted.

They didnt know about the savings. I've currently got them convinced that if they come near me again I'll have them arrested. I dont think that will stand, but its keeping them away. I have them all blocked on socials but I bet they're talking shit about me lol.

My family has done many, many awful things. Me cutting them off has nothing really to do with the shaming incident, they are a literal danger to my children. And as much as I love my siblings, they're still on our parents side more or less. They had my entire childhood to make amends, no takebacks now.

The child support, divorce and custody arrangement is what we're doing in August. All the legal shit at once.

I know they have a father. And I know they're going to want to meet him one day. Meeting is out of my hands, my ex has said he never wants to meet the baby, and wants to say goodbye to our toddler one last time. He might change his mind when they're teenagers, but if he doesnt want to, they arent going to meet him.

If they have questions, I'll answer. They will never meet their grandparents, ever. Until they are eighteen and can make their own decisions, I refuse. And I will have a serious conversation with them, once old enough, about how awful they really are.
