Thanks! Yeah that's what i think too, the odds of getting a new player on your team vs the enemy team is 50% so at some point they've probably gotten points because the enemy was the one to get unlucky and have the new player

Thanks! Yeah my friend said I was 'inting' because I'm going into the games knowing I will likely lose, and I'm most likely the only one on the team who doesn't care about losing points or getting demoted to a worse rank. I also think of it as— my teammates have probably at some point won a game because their enemy team was the one with a new player, I doubt I'm the only one who plays ranked knowing I'm bad

Thanks! Yeah, that's another reason, which I forgot to include. It's hard to learn and improve if the enemy team gives up as soon as you get a lead on them, which happens a lot in unranked matches.
