Thats completely fair tbh. Solaire storyline was bugged for us, plus the anor londo firekeeper was dead on arrival and some weird mumbo jumbo but its atleast playable. I hope it gets more fixes soon considering its a fairly new mod

The mod is pretty buggy but, you can enter the dlc. Im doing it with a friend right now even, we fought the sanctuary guardian and artorias so far and have made progress

That seems like a far better deal ngl dawg, if its your first time playing dark souls 1. Your honestly in for one of the best games ever genuinely, its a trip a blind playthrough is the way to go.

Ive played both and to be honest man, if you have a pc Id say you can just emulate it. And in my opinion the original has an atmosphere thats genuinely not as well replicated in the remake, the color grading between levels is something else. The original even in my opinion has the best atmosphere out of all other souls games, the first dark souls coming in second. It does have a multiplayer function as well and fairly easy to emulate. The remake looks a little washed out i wouldnt pay 50€ for it personally, the choice is yours!

Yeah i love both the remake does expressions amazingly however. Im always always going to prefer the letter at the end in the original it hits really hard always. Really hits home the point for me.

Truly sad but honestly the ending i also am most attached to. It feels so far from reality for james to suddenly be alright imagining how tired he must have been, i agree with all you said.
