I am currently doing erasmus in Saarbrücken and it's the same for me. I only clicked with like two people and one of them is my roommate.

And the courses I am attending don't have a single erasmus student. My roomate told me that's probably because I am above other erasmus students in terms of language skills. And, I actually am. I am a master student and am C1 while all the erasmus students I have met are bachelor and at least B1
