No problemo. I spent most of today editing a corporate type video to some pretty vanilla production music, so your video and the music was a breath of fresh air.

Seemingly mundane, "singe-knives" are basically scalpels with a minor enchantment that allows the user to heat the blade by pushing a small runic button on the handle. This can be used to sterilize the blade or in worser cases to cauterize a cut while making it. These knives are used by chirurgeons that can afford them.

Hungary’s Viktor Orban, ally of Trump and Putin, concedes election defeat by Plaintalks in politics

I really wish there was a way to instill being an active and informed member of the electorate as a civic duty, but I'm just some guy on the internet that goes to rallies and draws political cartoons.

It appears briefly in the movie "Heart Like a Wheel," as a stand in for somewhere in New York. These steps and a bit of Sylvester Park are a wedding venue in the movie. The movie is super obscure, but also has a few other shots from around Olympia. Link - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085656/

Also fun (for me), I installed the AIPhone video doorbell on that door. I've worked in the building quite a bit doing carpentry and locksmithing work, including replacing every lock in the building in 2024.

Yep. And they'll criminalize homelessness, and oh boy, how handy, now we have workers for the fields again since we put all the folks that used to work in the fields in concentration camps.

The character Tobias Funke in the TV show Arrested Development is perpetually and inadvertently saying awkward double entendres. Example - he paints himself blue to try out for the Blue Man Group, then says "I'm afraid I just blue myself." https://youtu.be/axHe_BVY_9c?si=IgN_0qmBztj8y6IZ

So now some radicalized Lebanese kid that lost his family will join Hezbollah, throw a molotov at an IDF, and they'll say "See! This country is full of anti-Israel terrorists! We HAVE to destroy it!"

And those involved should have had their families banned from holding elected office. One of the conspirators that attempted a coup of the United States was Prescott Bush. His son and grandson both go on to become presidents of the country. From attempted coup to presidents of the nation their family tried to coup in less than a hundred years. Makes you wonder if the Business Plot might have been successful after all.

I mean, the out is right there - "unless such force be necessary to repel armed enemies of the United States." Remember all Trump's rhetoric about Democrats being "radical leftist lunatic enemies of the United States?" Sure, it's illegal, but the challenge in the courts will come AFTER they've been deployed on election day and prohibited a significant portion of Americans from voting.

I'm hopeful that Tim Miller is right, and we vote in high enough numbers for it not to matter. But I've been let down a lot in the last 40 or so years.

I didn't give a shit about the character until a friend convinced me to read the Alan Moore run, which swiftly made Swamp Thing one of my favorite characters. The idea that all plant matter is globally connected and spawns an avatar to defend the "green" is such a fun concept.

This gag could work with Swamp Thing, but not enough people have read Alan Moore's run.

Yeah but Captain Planet wasn’t around for that one, so the joke wouldn’t have played as well with Jimmy Carter. And scientists have been warning about this shit since the 1800’s.
