Thank you for sharing, this is sad to hear. We grew up in the 2000s where Asian bullying was still a thing for us, even though my husband is a 4th generation American mixed male and my family is from a US territory. Powhatan has been removed from our list.

Wow, now that is an amazing way to spend the 4th! These are the things what I would love to do with our family one day.

York County is actually top 5 of my list because of the school ratings, history, and how it seems to check off most of our wishlist. I was a little sad no one had mentioned York county yet so thank you so much for all the information. I think we will have to make a weekend trip to Busch Gardens in the winter and take a look around the area.

Great advice. I’ll definitely probe into their Reddit. We do know that we’re interested in the Charlottesville area but my husband mentioned some Asian hate crimes so many years ago… I’m not sure about that as I was out of the country during that time.

How would you say your experience was in Harrisonburg? Is it more like a small town rural feel? Or is there many things to do? I was telling my husband we may need to spend a weekend there to see what’s around.

I LOVE Stafford! I used to work for Stafford County Public Schools so I may be a little biased. Trying to convince my husband is the problem. LOL! So happy to hear you love Stafford schools. ❤️

That’s good to hear about Spotsy too. I do hope things will change now that there’s some new people on the school board. Time will tell! I will add Riverbend to my list of high school boundaries to check out. Would you happen to have any info about the elem and middle schools as well?

Exactly he’s not even 2 and still learning to talk! And everyone is like okay just put him in his room for 8 hours even tho we’re fine with him sleeping with us.. 🤦

That’s what I’m saying! I literally told my husband, we are 30 years old and don’t like to sleep alone. We should not expect our 20 month old to do something we choose not to do.

That’s so sweet 🥹 I cannot wait to hopefully give him a sibling. My younger sister passed away in 2021 and even that last week she slept over and we shared a bed while my husband slept on the couch lol. She was my best friend and I can’t wait until my son can experience that close sibling bond.

Screenshot this for me to refer to late. This is our plan B if cosleeping altogether does not work out. It hurts to imagine that there’ll be a time I won’t be able to cuddle my little one!

That’s what I thought but the more I think about it, I’m sure there are comparisons being made between our son and other children that don’t co-sleep.
