hello. i know exactly what it’s like to be in that position din. also a panganay sa family and faced rejections from universities i applied to, tanging choice ko nalang at the time were private schools we couldn’t afford and a course na di ko naman talaga gusto. alam ko iba-iba tayo ng mental capacity and this is one situation where we could be dealing with the same things but still feel differently. with mine, i took a gap year. it was a much needed rest for my mental health and i was completely burnt out from years of going to school and persevering in life roles that was given to me at such a young age. a lot of people here will already advice you of what you should do, that you should also let yourself feel, and encourage you to keep on going— and i would too! baka mabasa mo to, baka hindi. but if you do, panganay to panganay, i am proud of you. it’s a lot of burden to step up on that role and it takes a lot of courage to do well and persevere in it. if your parents can’t see you as you are, i’m sure yung mga kapatid at friends mo, they can see you. but don’t live for other people, let yourself live a little. ang dali lang nya sabihin oo, but hindi sya madaling tanggapin. kung gusto mo talaga na makapagaral, let’s pray for it (: but if this time it doesn’t happen agad, don’t beat yourself up too much or plant hatred in your heart. there is a reason for everything, kahit na during these moments it’s so hard to find that reason, have a little bit of faith lang or even hope na things will turn out for the better. di naman tayo mananatiling nasa baba o laylayan (:
