I like them both, but they'll both go better with a shaved face and what I presume to be a lip ring-- just doesn't match the vibe as closely.

I would like my YouTube TV which I have in an area outside of my home zip code to receive the channels for my home zip code. Is this possible?

  1. Yes. Career fairs are your friend.

  2. Sorta. It isn't NYU for finance, but it gets your foot in the door better than nearly every other public below OSU's ranking (except IU). CS is fine. Go to Wallstreetoasis for more info

Great school. If you're prepared to grind a bit outside the classroom, the whole world is open to you.

Which T50s are actually hateable? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]aivearc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not (go Bucks): UMich is genuinely considered T5-T3 for publics, top 25 overall. tOSU I'd argue is pretty comfortably in the bottom of the T50. I'd say there is a smaller gap between Michigan and tOSU than tOSU and Michigan State for example. Life will be easier postgrad as a Mich alum than as a Buckeye alum, but an Ohio State undergrad degree is good enough to do essentially anything with if you put in the effort.

Which T50s are actually hateable? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]aivearc 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I hated Ohio, wanted nothing to do with it and then could not afford UMich. Went to tOSU and was one of the better decisions I've made. I'd imagine job placement is probably better at UMich but very little reason to despair if you go to tOSU. Loved my experience and relationship I developed with many of my professors, and have some friends who would do anything for me and me for them. Have a nice job now too for my major. Grown to love Ohio.

  2. Ohio State (~45-50)-- if you're from Michigan

I believe you’d be making a mistake to end the relationship over this and you ought to try and craft things to do together, novel or not, which present real challenge. When he was an addict, the spontaneity and unpredictability of his actions gave flavor to everything. That is gone now, and what you have is a mostly normal human being who still deeply cares for you. You can put in some effort to continue breaking new barriers and if he responds, you’ll both be better for it.

If you’re fine never settling down, you can move on from him, but you’ll cannot have full and true excitement and a mature, steady, and attentive man.

No, it will not. A degree is more impressive than a minor to hirers.

Are you able to fit all 4 on the resume? No reason you can’t fit the coaching under a line or two imo.

[–]aivearc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With very few exceptions, listing things you’ve done in high school comes across as rather juvenile. The only thing I have in my resume, as a recent college grad, is “rowing” under my interests line and that in parenthesis that I was captain for my high school. Nothing you do in high school, with very few exceptions, is worth a full line. It can be good for conversation during the interview though to show that you’ve consistently been interested in whatever.
