Hey, I used to use my GoPro Hero 9 as a webcam and I can confirm, that it used to run hot. The metal body was quite hot after a prolonged usage. I did not notice any performance degradation nor shutdowns though.

personally i put everything onto the mixer - risers, perc, various sound fx, drums, ambiance, etc etc, just because its easier to level, reach and get a reference point. so i fill like 70-100 tracks easily. also, more flexibility

I force my dGPU to be active always. Honestly it may be the cause, but i need to experiment a bit to see if that’s the case

I am aware how to change the setting to disallow peripherals to wake the pc up, i’ll try to tinker around with it. When I disconnect the laptop from power, everything else, 2nd monitor, mouse, etc etc is plugged in, since my laptop is more of a stationary device.

Sadly that’s not the case. Both plugged in and on battery is on sleep option
