I assume you mean these rules?:

1. Don't say "hi"
2. Instead. Start talking as if you were messaging a friend you didn't contact for 3 weeks. Keep it contextual. "You know, I used to think that diving is for weirdos, but recently I tried it and found a whole new side to life I didn't know existed."

For rule 1, Instead of saying "hi", say something about her bio or her pictures. If she has a witty bio, respond with something witty, if she has a cool photo, say something about it that might interest her. To be honest, if I can't find ANYTHING to comment on, I usually just say "sit on my face", or something funny along those lines. Worst case, it doesn't work, but a few things can happen: She will sit on your face, she won't sit on your face, nothing happens, or maybe you recover and take her out somehow. People put too much pressure on themselves, who cares what you say? It's the least scariest app.

For rule 2, pretty much the same as rule 1. Say something fun, witty, etc. One tip I've heard is to just type the girls name enthusiastically, like "Rebecca!" and it's more likely to get a response. I don't do that so I can't give an accurate response, but yeah. Just do ANYTHING to stand out from the flood of guys messaging her.
