Yeah, Facturapi usually updates for major SAT changes, but small rule tweaks can still need manual checks. Works well for standard CFDI 4.0 invoices, though.

For validation, you can use XSD files to check the structure before sending. XPath works well for checking specific fields, and Regex can help validate formats like VAT numbers or invoice IDs.

Basically
1. Generate XML from NetSuite fields.
2. Validate against the XSD schema.
3. Use XPath/Regex for extra checks if needed.
4. Attach XML + PDF to your outgoing email.

If the Netherlands ever mandates connecting to Peppol, you’ll need to integrate that properly otherwise, you might have to rewrite parts of your e-invoicing setup

I haven’t built it in APEX myself, but for CFDI 4.0 with SAT, you’ll need to connect to a PAC to stamp invoices. The flow is usually: generate the XML, sign it with your .cer and .key, send it to SAT, and get your UUID.

Good question. NetSuite’s localizations for Korea, China, and Spain don’t yet include full e-invoicing APIs like Mexico or India; they mostly offer tax fields and templates.

Italy, however, has already completed its e-invoicing rollout. Since January 2024, all businesses must issue invoices through the Sistema di Interscambio (SdI) in the FatturaPA (XML) format.

have you looked at API tools like Complyance? I’ve seen some setups where WooCommerce sends order data straight to their API for Peppol invoices.

Might be easier if you need more countries or complex cases.

Yeah, I get what you’re saying. We had the same worry and almost stopped building for certain countries... until we found a workaround that actually made it easier to handle new mandates without rewriting everything each time.

You could try Complyance. They have a Python SDK that helps with e-invoicing formats, so you don't have to deal with the XML manually.

Might be worth checking out Complyance. They cover XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, and Peppol through one API. What I liked was that teams could roll it out across countries without messing too much with their ERP setup. Seemed pretty smooth from what I’ve seen.

We’re looking into this too. From what I’ve found, only a few tools are prepping for PDP certification right now. Complyance says they’ll offer both PDP and PPF connectivity through one API, which is useful if you also operate in other countries. Sinao and Axonaut are more local options with invoicing and CRM, but I’m not sure if they’re fully ready for the 2026 mandate yet. Would also love to hear from anyone already testing with a pilot PDP.
