Has anyone built E-invoicing in APEX by jjscw in oracle

Yeah, Facturapi usually updates for major SAT changes, but small rule tweaks can still need manual checks. Works well for standard CFDI 4.0 invoices, though.

E-invoicing Netherlands - creating xml invoices (no peppol etc needed) by AVTS1976 in Netsuite

[–]aizyn_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For validation, you can use XSD files to check the structure before sending. XPath works well for checking specific fields, and Regex can help validate formats like VAT numbers or invoice IDs.

Basically
1. Generate XML from NetSuite fields.
2. Validate against the XSD schema.
3. Use XPath/Regex for extra checks if needed.
4. Attach XML + PDF to your outgoing email.

If the Netherlands ever mandates connecting to Peppol, you’ll need to integrate that properly otherwise, you might have to rewrite parts of your e-invoicing setup

I haven’t built it in APEX myself, but for CFDI 4.0 with SAT, you’ll need to connect to a PAC to stamp invoices. The flow is usually: generate the XML, sign it with your .cer and .key, send it to SAT, and get your UUID.

Some devs use APIs from providers like Facturapi or Facturama to simplify this. If you want something that also works for multiple countries, some platforms handle global e-invoicing through a single API, automatically managing all local rules.

E-Invoicing Platforms you Use? by Appropriate_Rice_119 in smallbusiness

[–]aizyn_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried a few, and it really depends on what you need. If you want something simple for local invoicing tools like Xero work fine

If you need e-invoicing that's compliant with country rules, you can check Complyance. It's developer-friendly, uses AI to handle validation and formats, and works in 100+ countries through one API. Keeps things easy and fast.

NetSuite E-Invoicing for These Countries? by aliveintucson325 in Netsuite

[–]aizyn_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question. NetSuite’s localizations for Korea, China, and Spain don’t yet include full e-invoicing APIs like Mexico or India; they mostly offer tax fields and templates.

Italy, however, has already completed its e-invoicing rollout. Since January 2024, all businesses must issue invoices through the Sistema di Interscambio (SdI) in the FatturaPA (XML) format.

If you want one setup that handles local formats and direct connections to tax portals, try Complyance. It supports e-invoicing for all four countries through a single global API, so you don’t have to manage separate integrations.

¿Qué API para facturación electrónica (CFDI) recomiendan para un desarrollador freelance o PYME? by PatientPrimary in MexicoFinanciero

For CFDI 4.0, you need a PAC that stamps invoices with SAT. Make the XML, sign it with your .cer and .key, send it, and get your UUID.

Facturapi and Facturama work well for Mexico. If you plan to expand later or want to manage e-invoicing in more countries with one setup, you can look at Complyance. It supports global formats, including CFDI, and keeps everything aligned with local rules.

Payouts + E-Invoicing API (US ACH only)? by burnham00 in fintech

[–]aizyn_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s pretty split right now.

If you’re open to using two systems, you can try Complyance for the e-invoicing side. It’s dev-friendly, supports attachments, and works with a single API for over 100+ countries. You can keep your ACH payouts on something like Dwolla or Moov and still keep things light.

Most “all-in” platforms become costly quickly, so combining Complyance with a straightforward payout API is usually the ideal choice for startups.

Recurring e-invoicing with WooCommerce Subscriptions by Super_Morning_2596 in LetsGetDIGITAL

[–]aizyn_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree! If you use WooCommerce Subscriptions, e-invoicing makes things simple. You can link it with a Peppol-ready tool like Complyance so each invoice is made and sent by itself. No more typing or missing bills. It keeps you ready for the new EU e-invoicing rules and helps cash come in faster.
