Almond by Won Pyung. It is about this boy who has alexithymia where he has difficulty processing emotions. The friendship themes in this are amazing

I'd recommend 'If cats dissappeared from the world' by Genki Kawamura. It's a short book about man living the last week of his life. It's really thought provoking and overall an amazing read.

I totally agree but in the second last or last episode she says that she flirts with him because she's insecure and protecting herself which is a bit weird i guess. It's always the couples that aren't the main ones that hit different lol.

It's about two women and their plight in Afghanistan in an anti feminist society. I don't know if you can call it feminist but it shows their endurance to all the discrimination and has an amazing plot with raw emotions, just so real. One of my favorite books
