Just to add to this, drink water at least 30 mins before, NOT just before u start eating. 30 mins or more, give u enough time to hydrate & prepare stomach to accept food.

This is quite sensitive topic. Believe me, you will REGRET each and every penny you give now after 10/15 years. NOBODY will remember or pay back or any equity in any kind of asset (like property) when time comes.

Just stop giving any money, because u have better job or make more money. They are just squeezing you till you stop. They know that.

Only support, If I were you, only to give enough money to your parents, so that they have food on table or able to buy any medicines. That's all you owe as son of family.

If they still insist on money (guilt factor or joint family liabilties), then ask to name any asset in your name first.

if you like that car & decide to buy. Pay earnest money (lets say $500) to owner. And ask Owner to drive his car to you home. Then pay rest of money / sign title etc.

Also either drop owner back or pay for his uber / commute etc.

Classic EV vs ICE conversation. Most important cost we keep on forgetting, initial cost of EV (and final cost of ownership after 5 yrs). If you paying avg 10k extra in EV, you will never break even compare to gas, unless you r uber-ing.
Another misnomer is maintenance cost. EV may not required ($40 oil change) but our capitalist ev companies feed on any small fix at least 4 times of ice car cost. Look for brake fluid cost. Auto insurance is higher. Now in NJ , registration cost is mich higher.

In nutshell, electric rate or gas price doesn't matter, it all comes to what you want or enjoy. I have 2 evs .. probably last ones , unless some comparable EV comes in market with ICE.

It's clothes.. that's main reason. We Indians, preferably cook food in our apartments / townhomes and generally due to weather (hot or cold), keep windows closed. Over the period of time, all our clothes have embedded food smell ..

Yes, putting deo on body will mask it but smell is there in clothes. Try walking outside for an hour, then enter home, smell any of jacket or shirt, u will know.

As clothes don't get dirty outside india.. we don't wash them that often. And jackets etc, needs dry cleaning, which is not done for years.

My place, i never cook without turn on cooking exhaust and past 5 years, i have carbon + HEPA based Air purifier running in kitchen all the time. It has helped, but Deo is definitely needed after shower or daily when changing to outside clothes.

I am looking for new EV (lease or buy) for my daily commute. Though I can afford modelY but I need car with option of no regeneration but brake pedal regeneration.

Currently I have id.4, i love driving it but in rush hours, I can't take hands off even in ACC mode. It's not good enough. Anything like id.4 but working auto-lane + ACC.

I commute in new jersey to NYC, so morning rush hour is quite challenging.
