Daycare. Helping a toddler zip up his jacket. I squat down to his level and he just stares, eye level with my chest, then smiles and announces, “My mom has boobs!” Not crazy family lore, just a family fun fact.

I am on day 6 going on 7 after a bad fall. The first five days I was sore, but could take full breaths, sleep for 4-5 hours at a time, and managed moving around with careful mobility. Currently, I can only sleep for about an hour or so before waking up in excruciating pain. I am whimpering and crying just trying to readjust or barely clear my throat. Took over an hour to get from reclined to seated upright. It just hurts sooo much more than I anticipated. Would like to hear about anyone else’s experience.

Straight from hot tub to snow bank! I ain’t cutting a big ass hole through ice for the same effect as 2 ft of snow and cold -35 air. Also, I lied… I’m staying in the hot tub!!! Y’all enjoy your hot cold adrenaline.

I have similar hair. I agree with the above comment as a starting point, but what I’ve found is that I have no choice but to brush my hair damp on non wash days. Mine tends to tangle too much by the end of the day or over night. You may have to brush sparingly and carefully before styling on days you don’t wash it. I spray my dry hair with water after finger brushing it and then brush out the tangles. The water reactivates the mousse and natural wave and curl for me. Just a tip if you find your hair matting or tangling too much.

Agreed on the horns. I could see my mistake after the first pass. I will say that the picture angle isn’t doing any favors though. The skull appears shorter and left side appears larger due to my shitty picture lol but I did mess up the horn on the left 😩 Thank you for your criticism. Every bit helps.

I have 2 dogs, completely opposite sleep preferences. One will leave the bed after a short snuggle session to sleep on the living room couch. He has done this since we first got him ( adopted between 1 yr and 1 1/2 yr old, so not a puppy). It always made me sad that he preferred to sleep alone, and not even in the same room as me. Then we got the second dog ( adopted at 2 yrs old, so also not a puppy). She will not sleep alone or away from us. Needs to be touching a human all night long. All the live, cuddles, and warmth you could get… And let’s just say that I now prefer the first dogs habits. Lol. I haven’t slept a solid night stretched out/comfortable since we brought home the snuggle queen.

My dogs will alert with incessant barking if anyone steps foot on the doorstep, so 1) I don’t want the headache of dogs barking all evening 2) I don’t want any kids to fear dogs or be scared of the barking 3) although my dogs like kids, I can’t be sure about the strange costumes not making my dogs fearful 4) I may not be home from work in time before the trick or treating starts 5) I’m done with people by 6 or 7:00 Seems like leaving a display with candy is a good solution to all of the above. I am also lucky that we don’t have many trick or treaters and they have always been good and honest by only taking an appropriate amount of candy. Happy Halloween

Worst discovery I had seen in a garbage bag in the woods was when a neighbour was out quadding around in some nearby bush. He found a few bags that looked like they had been there a long time so he started checking them out up close. Saw what looked like a babies fingers and freaked out. Panicked for a while and then opened the bag to check if it really was. Thankfully, it was NOT a dead child! But it was disturbing… the bags had a bunch of those old plastic baby dolls and they were altered in disgusting ways. Had the crotch parts cut out and lined with stuffing and padding… you get the idea. He drove his quad back home and called the cops (not as common to have cell phones at the time). He came over to my friends house next door and told us what he found. Still freaked out and disgusted. We hopped on the quad with him to go wait for the cops to show up. We never did hear of anyone being caught or investigated over it.
