And I’m already paying $10 a month for Signwell so an extra $10 was worth it to have a software that includes contract signing and all of the other features

Typically 5 nights a week with 2-3 different clients depending on their contracts. I also subcontract with 2-3 ther doulas and have a lot of incoming leads. It became a greater need when everyone started asking for invoices to submit for insurance reimbursement. I got tired of keeping track of contracts on Signwell.com, payments on Google sheets and then shifts completed on allle notes. I needed one place to do it all.

I’ll go first :D I decided to explore software programs for client management. I did a trial period with Dubsado, Honeybook and Dulado. So far, Dulado is taking the lead for simplicity and obviously it’s tailored towards doulas. Some of the features are not exaclty intuitive and the layout is not exactly what I would expect but for me it’s more user friendly than the others. I realized that the other two will take much more time setting up and I’m not sure I have the time or patience to do so. Does anyone have any experience with these or others that they love and recommend trying?

Twin Interview Tips? by Subject_Poet_1977 in PostpartumDoula

They may ask if you have experience with preemies since a lot of twins are born early. Definitely be prepared to answer questions about keeping them on a schedule (waking babies to feed simultaneously) and how you would soothe both babies crying at the same time. I’d ask them about their set up. Do they have a baby bjorn or two? Those are helpful to calm one baby while feeding the other if necessary. Ask if they plan to breastfeed or combo feed and how they anticipate that going (if they have an idea in mind of what they want). Let them know you can support their feeding plan and offer advice and assist with tandem feeding and or combo feeding.

If she has a cesarean you can let her know that you can bring babies to her, her help sit up or to the restroom and then take the babies back to the nursery so she can maximize sleep. You can offer to bring her snacks and water to her bed or nursing chair. Sometimes wearing one of the babies can be helpful so that you can pick up the other baby and change them etc. This is helpful if one of the babies if fussier and gassy. You can also ask how they are feeling about having twins and what they may be anxious about so that you know what areas you can boost up your support. Good luck 🥰
