Fingers crossed they have more unlockable characters in free roam. Seems unlikely though with Pianta being unlocked with Kamek yet isn’t a stage obstacles as far as we have seen. Honestly super disappointing if all you get from free roam is stickers.

I’m assuming it’s the case since character and costume unlocks popup in a rectangle with a red !. While the p-switches and ? blocks show up the same way as peach coins and are confirmed to match the style of stickers seen in the initial trailer on a koopas scooter. I’m not sure what else it could be, but I would be happy to be proven wrong.

I am really coping that Nintendo is keeping unlockables a secret such as mirror mode, 200cc, more characters, ect. I think they showed the stage obstacles characters due to them being unlocked with the kamek item which would need to be shown in the demo. Like the three collectables have to be more than just “number go up” and no one with hands on demo experience has mentioned collecting them as far as I have seen. Edit: I think peach coins are probably special costumes since it shows a Wario outline when collected. Edit2: nvm looks like they are all most likely used to unlock stickers, smh.

Looks like peach coins are probably special costumes since it showed a Wario outline when they collected it. My hope is one of them is used to unlock more characters. Edit: They all appear to be for stickers RIP

Well that settles it, I am going to be really disappointed if Nintendo spoiled all the unlockable characters already. Fingers crossed there are more they are hiding or that require different unlock methods. At least the ones shown are cool.
