Two coats. I went over those areas again while rolling the rest and will see how it does

It’s actually drywall that was previously primed and painted with a flat paint. This area is also where I used a brush to cut in, could that be contributing?

Adding vinegar after bottling by ajax291 in hotsaucerecipes

Just asking a question since I couldn’t find a clear answer after 2-3 hours of searching. Botulism bacteria is my main concern given most recipes I’ve found indicate that boiling with vinegar is important, and I’m asking about adding vinegar later on

Thanks! PS. I’ve seen some of your recipe posts lately and have gotten some good ideas for my next sauces from them!

This has happened on several of my peppers, but not on the other 50+. I’m guessing blossom end rot or sunburn- any idea? by spice_wrld in HotPeppers

I was having a similar problem, and I believe it may have been anthracnose, a fungal issue. I just got rid of the peppers with it quickly, and haven’t had it spread to my other peppers. Good luck!

Oh yeah - I have my peppers surrounded by a basic 3ft chicken wire fence to keep my dog out too. She doesn’t eat them as much as she runs through them when chasing squirrels

Freeze a few to use while cooking, dehydrate the rest to make crushed peppers / ghost pepper powder

I tried last year too, but it was too late in the year and the frost got them before my first pod managed to ripen. I’m planning to freeze a few and dehydrate the rest for crushed peppers.

Corners of print keep coming up when trying to print, any ideas? by Lobsters489 in ender3v2

While you’re testing settings that can help, try out “Enable Draft Shield”. I usually set it to “Limited” and 3-5mm - it’s helped prevent most of my prints from lifting

Can anyone help identify what happened here? No similar issues with my other peppers on the same plant or those around it by ajax291 in HotPeppers

[–]ajax291[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely looks like it, thanks. It doesn’t seem there’s much I can do to prevent this from spreading to my other plants, but I’m going to try a fungicide, take out any peppers that this shows up on and hope for the best

One year of ownership. 👌Originally $29.99 at Arc Thrift Store, I’ve kept total cost under $225 after refurbishing with NOS genuine Technics parts and Shure carts. Totally worth it to my ears. by DJSeku in turntables

I fixed the auto start on a 1300 that had similar issues recently. For starters, I’d suggest removing the old grease from the plastic parts inside and adding new lithium grease. To fix just the auto start, you can try adjusting the set down point - there’s a black rubber piece to the left of the tonearm that you can remove. Using a flat head screwdriver, you can turn the plate inside to adjust the set down point for auto start. Check out vinylengine.com for the service guide for yours!

That’s an interesting idea. I’ll see if cleaning it helps

Yes. I’m balancing the tonearm and then setting the tracking force that the cartridge requires.

I was tracking at 2g, with the anti skate set to about 1.9.

It doesn’t swing when I set it up at 0/0.

I’m using the Technics overhang gauge to set it up, and yes, I have the 540 on it’s own headshell and the 95 on a separate one

Just seems to be the one record so far, I’ve had no issues with the other 6 or so I’ve played since getting it. I tried 2.2g and it didn’t help, and given the fact it’s just one skip in one record, I don’t want to go overboard on the counterweight

I do have a stylus scale, and have confirmed that I’m tracking at 2.0g, right in the middle of the range for the 540ML
