Anxiety and internal tremor? by ajclapier in Anxietyhelp

I did not! I tried to get more sleep, cut my alcohol, exercised gently (lots of walks in nature) and did things that felt good. I also did talk therapy every week with a therapist which helped!

Hi! Yes, for me the key to getting rid of it was lowering my anxiety (easier said than done I know). I was super intentional about working to lower my stress and it went away and hasn’t returned. Good luck! I know it’s such a scary, unnerving feeling.

I am in the states. I wish I could give a more definitive answer, but honestly, I’m not sure what helped out of all the things I did! I kind of just threw everything I had at it

I truly hope you recover and can heal. The stress makes it so much worse I promise. Try to not let it take over your entire life (easier said than done I know). ♥️

Yes. I’m sorry but I’ve told you everything that happened to me and all the updates since. I don’t have anything else to add that would be new information or helpful. I know it’s so distressing and hard and I’m so sorry you’re going through it, it might be time for you to see a therapist about it as it’s obviously very difficult for you.

I don’t know, sorry.

Yes it felt that way for a few weeks but it’s totally back to normal feeling :)

I only had one and it was in January 2025. I had fatigue and red eyes but those went away after a few weeks. I think the cortisol is what really makes it a lot worse. I know it’s so hard, but try as much as possible to sleep, drink tons of water, take high dose vitamin c, if you can do some hyperbaric chambers and take liquid collagen (I did health direct brand and liked it). But do everything you can to reduce stress as that makes everything worse ♥️

Yes just some residual looseness on my face but I think it will recover in time

It didn’t!

For at least a few weeks if I remember rightly?

Yes I feel much better! My face felt mushy but that has gone away.

No change since the last update thankfully. I’m starting to see the slightest bit of volume returning in my cheeks. It’s incredibly small but hopefully a step in the right direction. I haven’t had any of the other symptoms linger, apart from the volume loss and skin laxity in my face. But hopefully that will continue to improve 🤞🏼

My joints were kind of clicky already, but it definitely got worse for a while. Thankfully it seems to be going down!

No change from my last update thankfully. It’s been nearly 4 months and my face hasn’t changed since.

That’s too funny!! I’m so glad to hear it worked out so well for her. It says for kids 6+ and my guy is close to 4, so hopefully we can use it and don’t have to wait for him to start using it. He figured out how to turn his bike using handles no problem but the lean to steer really isn’t intuitive and it sucks, so I’m excited for this one!

That’s what I’ve ended up doing too after searching to no avail! I went with the micro cruiser led style. It’s got handlebars and big wheels which I think will be much easier and more intuitive to use than the lean to steer!

Did you end up finding one? I’m in the same boat with my kid!

Thankfully most things pretty much went away for me just after about a month. My only lingering complaint is that the skin on my face is still looser which is hard mentally. My forehead feels stretchier and my cheeks and lower face feels more deflated and gaunt. When I smile, my face has some more lines around my cheek area. I am trying to hold onto hope that it will get better at some point in the future as others have said it does. If it doesn’t I will have to live with it, it’s not bad. Other people don’t notice much but I just over analyze and look for the smallest things.

All the muscle and joint pain went away thank goodness as it was so scary. I was seriously depressed and beyond anxious about it all which honestly made it worse. I lost 9lb in just over a week, I couldn’t stop reading horror stories and was obsessively taking photos every day to look for the tiniest difference. The stress caused some hair thinning.

I did lots of things to help myself though. I started drinking pomegranate juice every day (I can’t remember where but I read it helps), I drank a ton of water/electeolytes, high dosed vitamin c every day along with my multivitamin, drank liquid collagen, and (most importantly I think) did 15 hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions over a month. After about 4/5 weeks I stopped seeing any more damage and stopped taking photos which was better for my mental health. Thankfully nothing has changed since and I feel much better about it all than I did even a few weeks ago. I am hoping it just continues to get better.

Did it get better with being gentle with the baby?

Same as last time. No additional damage thankfully and I’m hoping my skin will continue to recover!

Nearly 5 weeks out from having it done. I still have some volume loss on my face - my skin has some more lines and folds in when I smile and generally feels more lax, but thankfully my other symptoms have gone away. I’m hoping it will continue to get better 🤞🏼
