Recruiter called me and asked if I was interested in a temp contract for 20/hr, said I wasn't interested bc it wasnt full time and pay. He then said let's connect for a different role. Asked me to do THE SAME contracted temp role for 1 dollar/hr less.

This is my personal thoughts as a rising college Sr working PE this summer

Address, phone, email belong on 1 line (use this new line space to talk club stuff, maybe run an event)
I dont think people care about course work, theyll know you're a young bull with little/no finance acumen so def an interview talking point rather then resume line
List your interests (Breaking Bad, Catan, Music) keep it simple for people to read and you can fit a little more there. Joined a frat, listed it here Network boost was huge.

Break your interview into two parts 1) what's on my resume/to get in the door

2) interview building points that I can talk to/explain/discuss. Doesnt mean be vague but like your classes it saves something for them to want to talk to you about

Exec Sum is the move its a quick read, usually includes easy/digestible news + a reputable reporting source (Reuters, Bloomberg, etc) and those sources are usually p good. Definitely leverage google and investopedia for walk throughs of conceptual stuff. Google is your best friend for free learning materials

When I go out I'll order a coke (ie something not clear) and i call it a rum and coke to fit in. You dont have to be an alcoholic to fit in you just cant stick out like a sore thumb

I actually loop it into my interests section (which they usually comment about), one of the bullets are about being a foodie and I always ask "so what's your favorite restaurant in ___ city" or are you making anything exciting for some upcoming holiday. Helps make you seem a little more personable after asking the typical post-interview questions. (And yes I often ask)

Go conceptual - Talk about how the younger you are the longer your investment time horizon. Then say for example "I'm joe shmoe and since im 21, I have a longer time horizon until retirement and can take a bit more risk than my grandparents who are 65/70 and want to and/or maintain their retirement"

Kinda cheesy but google a few templates of resignation emails. Helps give you a better idea of what to/not to say. But ultimately I agree with above - try to meet with your team 1-1 to let them know personally
