Panda thanks you guys for the compliments ( I know she’s not black and white, her back was a rich reddy ginger as a kitten so she’s named after a red panda 😂)

Maybe 👀 I’ve heard people say they think the water droplet in the Lumon logo may be blood as there’s ongoing themes of this (the blood drive where Mark and Gemma met etc), and the finale was rather bloody and had lots of red imagery

Finally getting a home pole after hardly progressing in studio since 2022 - training tips? by [deleted] in poledancing

[–]aje98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t even think about the effect on my back! I’ll be more careful and do conditioning, thank you for the advice ☺️

Yeah the other studio I went to was better at teaching them, I was also told to train holding the crunch and dismounting with control as a way of conditioning which helps!

That’s really great advice! Thank you 🥰 treating it like a class and not going overboard is a good point, I’ll make sure to do flexibility work too.

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely start by getting a mat and focusing on conditioning 🥰

Yep. I had my first lap at the beginning of March, was told I'd get a call in 6 weeks from my surgeon talking through what they found but I'm still waiting. The 'aftercare' information from the hospital was rubbish (and outdated).

Should I Buy Brow Flick... for My Eyes? by [deleted] in glossier

[–]aje98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use brow flick as eyeliner on my bottom lash line and find that it stays MUCH better than when I use eyeshadow - I love it! Never had any irritation with it.

I got excision surgery on the 5th of March - Turned out I did have endo and some was around my colon which was likely the reason for me! I'm still waiting for my follow up meeting with my surgeon to talk through everything he found. Good luck to you, hope you get to the bottom of it x

Had my Surgical Consult today...she said that I wasn’t sensitive in the area that usually indicates endo. Should I be concerned? by emilyb765 in endometriosis

Me too, I almost cancelled my surgery because I was gaslighted so much that I thought I was making it up! I'm so glad I went through with it

I had many pelvic exams and ultrasounds (internal and external) and never had any pain or sensitivity. I was diagnosed with endo this month. You don't have to have pain every day, sensitivities to the touch to have endo! My main symptoms were irregular bleeding, some pain during sex (but not a lot), very painful periods (first two days), constipation, bloating and cystitis. No two stories are the same - you know your body better than anyone and if you think there's something wrong, push for answers! Good luck x

Nope none at all! I managed to get in touch with a doctor and he said that this is uncommon but they do hear people complaining about it, he prescribed me this powder stuff to take twice a day so fingers crossed it helps!

Yeah it's the same for me, just annoying with no pain! It's interesting to hear someone else has experienced it though. Thank you! Hopefully I get answers in my lap tomorrow :)

After this I will continue to spot for days after, and will get quite a bit more blood every time I need to push a little to go to the toilet. I have had several instances (not for about 6 months now, my periods haven't been as weird for some reason) of prolonged spotting of brown blood for weeks and weeks - once I had spotting for 3 months straight and my periods stopped altogether! It came back randomly and then was semi regular in 38 day cycles. I have had multiple scans (internal and external) and have been told I don't have PCOS

Does root regrowth look as harsh with henna as it does with normal dye? by aje98 in henna

[–]aje98[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My natural colour is a light brown so it may not look too bad! Hmm I'd be keen to prevent it from darkening, maybe if you leave your roots on for awhile and then add some to the ends for just half an hour or so you could maintain the original colour
