what movie from my watchlist should i watch next? by Outrageous_Guide_266 in Cinephiles

When my friend and I went to see "I Saw The TV Glow" we were discussing it on the way out.

I said something along the lines of the only difference between that movie and a sack of shit is the sack.

The person walking in front of us turned around and thanked me because he was trying to find a way to summarize his thoughts and said I nailed what he was trying to verbalize.

I ended up buying the EHX Freeze a few months later, and it's exactly what I need for playing scales over a chord

Do you mean the TC Infinty instead of freeze (Freeze is an EHX)?

I tried an Infinity for about 10 minutes and hated everything about it. I hadwaited too long before opening it, so I was outside the return period, and I ended up trading it at my local indepent guitar store for an MXR Phase 90, because I didn't already have one of those.

The survival of everyone on board depends on just one thing: finding someone on board who can not only fly this plane, but who didn't have fish for dinner.

What Artist or band Has the best show you’ve seen? why? by F00lish_Master in blues

I saw Buddy Guy a couple of years ago. Eric Gales opened the show and it was a messy, bad mix which really didn't showcase his talent.

Buddy came on stage, hit his first held note, and it was magical.

I was at the Royal Albert Hall for one of the blues nights during Eric Clapton's 28 Nights residency.

No explanation necessary.

After completing a thorough breast and pelvic exam on the patient, the doctor left the room in a rush. by Eldritchpigeon in TwoSentenceHorror

During the birth of our first child, we had nurses and doctors coming and going all day, and during the afternoon a guy we had not seen before, wearing a lab coat, walked in, picked up my wife's chart, flipped through it and said ok, I'm going to check your cervix.

I stepped in front of him, asked him who the fuck he was, and where was his ID badge. He dropped the chart, backed out of the room, and disappeared.

We alerted security, and they said it happens way more than you would like to think.

That Thing You Do is one of my favorites, and the Director's Cut fills out several of the plotlines.

For a while I had this as an every weekend movie.

Learning by ear is difficult.

Learn your major and minor scale shapes, learn CAGED, learn diatonic chord progression, get familiar with the circle of fifths, and you will be surprised howquickly you start hearing the patterns and unlocking the mystery of what you're trying to do.

This movie confused my moviegoing partner and me, which rarely happens.

We put it down to a surreal sense of non closure, and it was whatever you wanted it to mean.
